Very comfortable house with bathrooms and a garden
Description
This beautiful holiday home for families and friends is located in an authentic Eifel house from 1850, the so-called "Veltenhaus", and is situated at the foot of the fortress of Mürlenbach, a small village near Gerolstein on the Kyll river.
Mürlenbach belongs to the municipality of Gerolstein, where there are a variety of shopping opportunities. The Gerolsteiner Land holiday region offers its visitors numerous leisure activities. The house is also an ideal starting point for long walks in the surrounding forests, mountain bike tours or to discover the beautiful Eifel with its castles and fortresses.
The holiday home has a large eat-in kitchen with a wood-burning stove, which is sure to become your favorite spot. In addition, the house has a large bedroom on the ground floor and three bedrooms on the upper floor, where you will find two bathrooms. There is also a large car park that can be found across the street and a large garden opposite of the house you can use.

A spacious house with a recognizable history: 1850 in the frame above the door. the castle is also beautiful; the Bertrada fortress, just behind the house. It was very hot during the holidays. The house remained wonderfully cool. around 23 degrees C. Spacious bedrooms and good beds.
House found clean, here and there some cobwebs, but had no problems. TV was unfortunately only for DVD and no channels. Were received super nice with a bottle of red wine.
Nice large kitchen with a large table where it is very nice to eat and play games. Fortunately also with a wood stove because the biggest downside is the heating of the house. There is central heating, but we have not been able to discover how and whether it could also be arranged. Sometimes it just seemed to catch on and often not, so that it was really too cold in the living room. But otherwise fine house with 2 bathrooms, 4 spacious bedrooms. BBQ grill or have it cleaned (or have it cleaned) Tops: large house in a quiet location with a beautiful castle directly on top of the hill above the house + enough towels and bed linen laid out + cozy wood stove
The condition of the house does not match the description, many pieces of furniture are in poor condition. There is only one TV without TV reception, but unfortunately that doesn't help. They really ask €80 for final cleaning, although there is dust and cobwebs everywhere. We would like to have half of it back. Otherwise, the location in the Eifel is simply great and everything can be reached quickly.
Excellent accommodation, beautifully situated in the middle of the Eifel. Mürlenbach has no facilities, but does have an excellent bakery. Ideal place as a starting point for walks and bike rides.
Upon arrival we found a rotten, damp, neglected holiday home. In addition, mold was found in various places. Since we could hardly breathe and also had 4 children with us, we got the keys back immediately and drove home. Everyone can imagine how disappointing and annoying such an experience is. We did not get help from belvilla at the emergency number, because afterwards too Calling umpteen and waiting a long time nobody answered the phone. Whether and how we will get our money back is currently still unclear. The contact person on site was not the owner and could not help. NEVER AGAIN!
