In Fonteno, overlooking the natural amphitheatre surrounding Lake Iseo, Oasi Azzurra is a terraced house located within a small complex: 70 m2 on two floors connected by an internal staircase. It has 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and a beautiful terrace, which increases the available space in fine weather. SPACES AND FACILITIES Recently built, Oasi Azzurra is spread over two floors: on the ground floor are the living room with an open kitchen and a bathroom with shower, while on the upper floor are the two bedrooms, both with double beds, and a second bathroom. The total capacity is 6 beds, if the beds in the two bedrooms are added to those in the sofa bed in the living room. The flat is equipped with independent heating and has paddle fans: the altitude and position ensure that the house remains cool and ventilated, especially at night, even in summer. The outdoor spaces are the area in front of the entrance and above all the terrace at the back, which allows outdoor dining with a truly remarkable view of the lake. Inside, the room has in the same room, extremely bright, the living area (with the sofa that converts into a double bed), the dining table and a wall-mounted kitchen equipped with everything, including of course the gas hob, electric oven and a capacious refrigerator. Also on the ground floor is the main bathroom with shower. A staircase then connects this level to the upper floor with the two double bedrooms with sloping ceilings with exposed beams and a toilet. Oasi Azzurra has private garage parking and wi-fi internet connection. THE AREA Fonteno, located at about 620 metres above sea level, is the highest village on what is known to the inhabitants of Lake Iseo as the Collina: a place made famous by the spectacular view of the lake and the 365 farmsteads scattered around, which become destinations for walks along well-trodden paths and mule tracks. Obviously, in addition to enjoying the attractions offered by the lake, which is only a little more than a ten-minute drive away, a considerable range of possible activities opens up here, among which hiking and cycling or mountain biking are in first place. Several 16th-century churches can be admired in the area. For speleologists, Fonteno is also known for the karstic cavity known as Abisso Bueno Fonteno, which descends 500 metres and stretches no less than 19 km and is among the top 20 caves in Italy in terms of extension.
