75 km to the northeast from Kuopio, lake Valkeinen (length 500 m, width 500 m) 20 m, shallow sandy bottom, water depth at the end of the pier is about one meter, rowing boat. Wooden cabin built in 1975, renovated in 2017, living room/kitchen, spreadable sofa, bunk bed in hallway, bedroom (with sliding door) doublebed (140 cm wide), washroom, shower & WC, sauna (wood-burning sauna stove). Pets allowed at extra fee, which is charged per reservation. The cottage has charging possibility for electric car for extra fee 5€ / day. The cabin has a shared cooking hut and a playground with neighboring cabin (Västäräkki) in summer time. Fire extinguisher is shared with 2 cabins and located outside. If the final cleaning has not been ordered and it has not been done properly by the customer, the final cleaning fee will be charged as double afterwards. Distance to the Tahko ski centre is 22 km, to the western slopes of Tahko 14 km (nearest ski lift). There are spa, restaurants, equipment rental and golf course in Tahko area. 6 km to Varpaisjärvi where is the nearest grocery store, a restaurant, and a lighted ski trail.
