This big pet-friendly holiday home situated in a charming farming village has 4 bedrooms to accommodate families or groups with children. It has large gardens, a relaxing terrace and balcony, and wood heating for comfort. Since the house is situated on a hill you have wonderful panoramic views of the countryside surrounded by tranquillity. Previous guests find the house very quiet, and enjoy forest walks and mountain biking, and visiting the Mosel towns.
There are many opportunities for walking and mountain biking in the area, or you are 15 km away from the famous Mosel river. You can also explore the tourist Moselle towns of Bernkastel Kues (15 km) and Traben Trabach (15 km). Idar Oberstein and Trier, all 50 km away and worth a visit.
The house is ideal for those wishing for a countryside break in a small farming village. It has 2 wood burners, a patio, a balcony, a barbeque and a pizza oven. The house was built in 1973 by a local architect.

A really great house in an exceptional location! You can hike directly from the house through forest and meadow. Enough space for small children to romp around on the large in-house meadow! You can watch deer in the morning right outside the window. Incredible view! Equipment in the kitchen is sufficient, standard in the bedrooms, so completely ok! The only thing we missed was the small playground, which can be seen in the photos. And the steep spiral staircase to two of the four bedrooms must be mentioned in the description. It wasn't a problem for us, but for small children or people with disabilities....
It took a while to find the key, but by telephone contact with the manager it was quickly resolved. We were 4 adults and 5 children. I found the living room surprisingly large, the access to the kitchen was easy to close for toddlers. The garden is a shared garden with the small house next to the rented accommodation. The covered seating area with outdoor fireplace and a wide balcony with a panoramic view is a good place to relax. The owner has done a lot of effort to map out clear walking routes. That was much appreciated. The accommodation is in a rural location.
Arrival was fine, the hosts welcome us. Nice spacious accommodation. 4 good bedrooms. Large living room. Kitchen not super nice but functional and much available. The view was fantastic. Nice terrace with fireplace. The wood-fired pizza oven also worked very well. all in all a nice location for walking and exploring the Moselle.
A nice house .. we thought it was way too cold with only a wood stove .. the transition to the bedrooms was much too large .. in the summer this is of course good to do .. but not in the winter ..
The house was extremely suitable for us because of its size. fantastic surroundings with beautiful hiking trails.
Lovely spacious house in beautiful surroundings. Furnishings and plumbing dated, but atmospheric and clean.
