Description
Steenwijk is located at the head of Overijssel. On the wet westside this picturesque town borders on the water region of Giethoorn and the Weerribben. On the dry eastside you will find the nature areas De Woldberg and De Eese. In this area of 1500 ha. you will see forests, heaths, fields, charming farmhouses and a small castle. You will find two cottages in this fabulous region: De Arendshorst en De Valkenhorst.
De Arendhorst is a cosy house with 2 floors, equipped for 16 persons. There are three bathrooms, one at the upper floor and two downstairs. In the middle of the room there is a cosy open fire. Of course there is enough seating room both in the dining- and the living area.
For groups with a different composition than family, a deposit of 1000 euros is requested.

We hadden een geweldige tijd in dit vakantiehuis, Het was schoon, goed uitgerust en de buitenruimte was geweldig voor de kinderen om te spelen, Het nabijgelegen restaurant serveerde uitstekend eten, wat dineren gemakkelijk maakte
Over het geheel genomen een solide keuze, De cottage was goed onderhouden en de slaapkamers waren comfortabel, We genoten van de ontspanning in de tuin, en de lokale omgeving bood leuke wandelingen
Such a peaceful environment! We loved waking up to the sounds of nature, The house had everything we needed, and the hosts were friendly and accommodating, A perfect getaway from city life
We stayed at De Arendshorst and it was just what we needed! The house was spacious and clean, with plenty of room for everyone, The location in the forest felt so peaceful, I loved sitting by the open fire at night, it made for a cozy evening, Would definitely recommend it to friends!
We had a pleasant experience at this cottage, It was spacious and well-equipped for our needs, with plenty of seating in the living and dining areas, The location is quiet, surrounded by lovely nature, although we did have to drive a bit to reach some attractions, The nearby Restaurant Heerlijkheid was a nice find for dinner, Overall, a solid choice if you're looking for a comfortable and private retreat
Parfait pour les familles ! Nous avons passé un moment fantastique ici, avec beaucoup d'espace pour tout le monde, L'espace extérieur était idéal pour des barbecues, et nous avons adoré l'atmosphère calme
