The houseboat is located in the Zandmeren recreation area, where there is plenty to do. Not far from Kerkdriel is the beautiful city of 's Hertogenbosch with the old Sint Janscathedral. With its beautiful boutiques and cosy restaurants and outdoor cafés, it is also a great city to spend a day shopping or wandering around. The old fortified town of Heusden is great for an excursion. You can also sail here if you rent a boat. The same goes for National Park De Biesbosch. A beautiful nature park mainly in and around the water.
