This comfortable, detached chalet is located in the village of Wald im Pinzgau, and is part of the Schöneben holiday village.This is a family holiday park where fun and tranquility are paramount. Chalet Berghütte enjoys a sunny location and its large window in the comfortable living room and spacious balcony give you a wonderful view of the mountains. It has an open kitchen with a typical Austrian dining area which will tempt you to enjoy cosy dinners together. The kitchen is fully equipped, which makes it so easy to prepare a nice meal. Up to 10 people can stay in the Chalet Berghütte – three bedrooms have a double bed, and one bedroom has two bunk beds. And when you need a little pampering, there is simply nothing better than relaxing in this beautiful chalet after an active day! In winter, the Chalet Berghütte is situated between two ski areas: the Wildkogel Arena family ski area and the larger Zillertal Arena ski complex. There is a free ski bus within walking distance of the chalet, while two cars can be parked in the carport below the chalet. Here, you’ll also find a storage room where all your skis and ski boots can be stored. The ski resorts and surrounding area are also excellent for other winter activities, such as tobogganing at the Wildkogel Arena on Europe's longest, 14-kilometre run, or even trying a snowshoe trek. Once back in the chalet you can sit back in the seating area near the atmospheric stove and enjoy chatting through the day’s adventures. After an active day, there is nothing better than relaxing in the beautiful chalet, enjoy! In summer, you can look out from the balcony over the green meadows of the valley of Wald im Pinzgau – the very best way to start and finish your holiday. Are you going into the mountains today for a relaxing hike or cycling trip? Or would you prefer to go on a more challenging canyoning or climbing expedition with the support of an experienced guide? Down in the village, you could take a dip in the covered Kristall swimming pool with its own sunbathing area, where you have free access during your stay. Or you could catch the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn for a relaxing train ride to Zell am See or one of the surrounding villages. There is plenty to discover in the Salzburg region!
