And, within a 50 km radius, there are plenty of excursions to choose from: Roman Narbonne, the Cathar castles of the Corbières, the medieval village of Minerve and the city of Carcassonne (a UNESCO World Heritage site), as well as natural sites such as the Canal du Midi, the Lac de Jouarres, the Bages lakes (popular with migratory birds), and the La Clape regional park (renowned for its picturesque hiking trails). The 95 m² single-storey house sleeps 6 comfortably. The 1000 m² garden features a large private swimming pool (12m x 6m), secured by an alarm. It is open from late May to late September, and has 2 tiled terraces (one in front of the house, protected by an awning, and another to the side, shaded by 2 plane mulberry trees). The solarium, also tiled, runs around the pool. Also outside: separate WC and shower. The garden, partly laid to lawn, is beautifully planted with flowers and trees. There is a barbecue.
