Haus Sonneninsel is situated in the middle of a spacious 1,300 m2 garden and woodland property, ideal for relaxing or for a family holiday. Velden and Lake Wörthersee are approx. 3km away. The house with 150m2 of usable space was completely renovated and modernised in 2020. 4 bedrooms, an inviting living room (50m2) with a large kitchen, two sun terraces and the garden offer space for up to 10 people. The rooms are divided into a large and a small living unit, which can be used together. Surrounded by mountains and lakes, the location offers a wide range of excursion possibilities in both summer and winter. The living area Our accommodation is ideal for one or more families: the large accommodation unit (8 beds) has a large master bedroom (double bed) and two bedrooms for two people each, as well as a comfortable sofa bed in the living room for two more guests. The smaller flat (2 beds) has a bedroom/living room with a double bed. Both flats are equipped with a kitchen and bathroom. The large unit has a storage room and an additional WC. The flats can be accessed and locked separately but are connected via an internal staircase. Each of the two flats has its own sun terrace. Extras for guests You can charge your electric car at a separately chargeable charging station. A sauna is available to customers during the cold season (electricity and cleaning are charged separately). Further important information: "Velden is considered the hotspot on Lake Wörthersee on one of Austria's most beautiful lakes with chic boutiques, cosy street cafés and award-winning restaurants." (Tourism advertising) Wide range of sports activities in summer (water skiing, diving, surfing, tennis). Hiking trails are right on the doorstep. Winter: numerous Carinthian and Italian ski resorts in the surrounding area. The Bulfon Bad in Velden is a very nice public lido (with discounted parking in the Casino garage, 100 m walk to the pool). The house is located in a quiet neighbourhood. We therefore do not rent to groups of young people who disturb the peace and quiet of the neighbours with loud parties or celebrations.
