Description
Located in Lanaken, this attractive holiday home makes a perfect getaway for a family or small group who would like to enjoy the sights and sounds of living in a beautiful private parkland with stunning lakes.
The cabin is surrounded by a garden with an ample patio area and a stone barbecue where you can relish a memorable time with your loved ones. There is garden furniture for use including a large dining table with an umbrella. The house has 2 bedrooms upstairs with one double and two single beds and works well for a family or a group of 4.
You can enjoy a soothing stroll or ride around the beautiful lakes within a minute walk away. There is a lovely lake house restaurant on one of the lakes with a large decked outdoor terrace where you can enjoy a delicious local meal or Belgium beers for lunch or dinner. The staff are very friendly, and the service is great!
For stocking up on your supplies you can visit the lovely Jumbo supermarket a few minutes away by car or bike or there are convenience stores such as Action just along the main road.
You can also explore the centre of historical Lanaken just one km away and get the hang of the culture and practices followed here.
This child-friendly cabin has parking facilities right in front of the cabin and you may bring a pet free of charge but note that currently there is not a secured fence around the perimeter to keep animals in the garden, so please bear this in mind.
The cabin has comfortable and useful modern furniture, and the bathroom is modern and sizable.
Maastricht City Centre is 15 mins drive away offering a fantastic shopping, restaurants, bars, and historical buildings and Aachen Airport lies 16 km away.

Pros: -Free WiFi and TV with Netflix.-Parking space right in front of the door.-Pets allowed.-Garden. -Beautiful and very quiet environment. Negatives: -We had forgotten our reservation.-Only room for 4 people as it is indicated for 6. With 6 people this would be really uncomfortable. finish is missing.-Stairs to the top are without handrail. -Electricity network is well dated. -There is a hole in the fence outside so be careful with your pet. General verdict: We thought it was far too pricey for a dated holiday home that had not been cleaned properly. For the same price and duration we stayed the year before in a beautifully furnished new building in Vielsalm with 4 people, which was highly recommended.
Nice house and beautiful surroundings
Beautiful holiday park.Lots of light in the living room.Sanitary new.Keuken ok.There may be a table with regular chairs. We then brought in the outside table. But no freezer in the fridge, and the stairs without a handrail. Brrr ... And for that price it wasn't cleaned enough.
Beautiful bungalow in beautiful surroundings.
Nice house with new bathroom, plenty of outdoor space and well-equipped kitchen. The cottage is located in a park where most of the houses seem to be in use by the owners. Near the lake in the park. Supermarket about 500 meters away. Many opportunities for beautiful walks in the area. It was very easy and pleasant to communicate and coordinate for check-in / check-out and also very flexible.
A little surprised by the fact that this house is a dwelling in a holiday village. Well appointed and cozy main room which counterbalances the very basic and not very insulated rooms (Fortunately, the heating works well!). Warm and welcoming house which however lacks finishing.
