Description
This apartment is located just outside De Cocksdorp in the residential area of our horse farm. The apartment has a private terrace with luxurious garden furniture and a small garden. After a beautiful holiday on Texel, you can relax in the evening in this nice comfortable apartment. You can enjoy a quiet evening both inside and on the terrace. In nearby De Cocksdorp you will find shops and restaurants.
The apartment is located entirely on the ground floor and has a living room with open kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped. One bedroom has two single box-spring beds and a flat screen television. The second bedroom has one box-spring bed. The bathroom has a shower and a sink. There is a separate toilet. The sliding doors take you to your own terrace with a small garden. A fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and combination microwave.
The island of Texel offers you many cycling and hiking trails. The bicycle is the ideal means of transport for your holiday. All sights, activities and villages with terraces and shops are a short distance from each other.
Go to the Caluna swimming paradise or to the seals in Ecomare. Don't forget to stop along the way in Den Burg and De Koog for a delicious drink or dinner on one of the many terraces.
For hikers, the nature reserve "de Slufter" is highly recommended. And one of the most unique hiking experiences on the island has to be a guided mudflat hike. Don't miss it and book a holiday on this fantastic island!

Great house in a nice location. Equipped with every comfort. Good alternative for a week of work on Texel instead of at home. And then enjoy a beautiful island during the weekend and the free hours.
The cottage is fully equipped. Beautiful furniture and kitchen, nice terrace and is beautifully rural (along a main road) and quiet. The site is also lockable, which is nice for dogs and small children. Small points of criticism: some more closet space and some shelves in the bathroom would be nice. A lockable shower saves a lot of water and some firmer beds would be nice (and preferably a bit wider). But that's all marginal. The only real criticism is the lack of privacy. The cottage is located at the front of the landlord's house. The private terrace is against a large lawn, but I think that belongs to their house (but we sometimes throw a ball about that.) The landlords have young children who play on the lawn and also a dog (which is in heat). If we sit outside then you have no privacy because their children are also outside and the dog too. All in all not insurmountable and everyone is very friendly and the kids like to chat ;). But I would invest in a private entrance for the tenants and a fence between the two living areas.
Beautiful spot, lovely apartment, bicycles were already on the terrace and very friendly reception. Also nice sun so a great start to our stay!
Cottage is an extension to a horse farm. With sufficient privacy. Modern decorated. Everything seemed just new. Bathroom a bit on the small side. Furthermore, enough space. Bakery and supermarket within walking distance.
Great modern holiday home close to the sea. Equipped with all comforts.
