We arrived on Friday 08/09 afternoon. From Sunday afternoon after the heavy rain it started to stink terribly and it doesn't stop. We have had to keep the windows closed since the afternoon. In the morning at 8:00 a.m. the Verkoopkantoor opposite our domicile No 55a starts working with a roar. The holiday village is only sparsely inhabited. Despite this, our neighboring property is mowed from 8:30 a.m. - how are you supposed to spend a relaxing holiday here??? Another complaint: They advertise that the sea is 300 m away. This beach is not walkable and for us probably the cause of this stench, as the sea here is a canal with brackish water! At least that's what it looks like. This is misrepresentation. We will get in touch with our contact person and ask for a quiet oceanfront home as booked by us in good faith!
on arrival a detailed report about a client who had been in this house who had left it very dirty. I think it's neat to talk to another client in this way. What won't be said about us? Then we miss a normal wall clock, a fly swatter. and the other time for the people who come after us a clean coffee pot. As a grade I want to give them a 5 or 6
Nice house with misses. No bed linen to rent, no welcome pack (garbage bags, dishwashing sponge, etc), broken drying rack, cobwebs inside and outside, poorly maintained garden, missing inventory (whisk, good measuring cup), patio door cannot be closed properly (gets stuck), many lamps are defective, towel radiator dirty, freezer door hard to open. In short: MANY areas for improvement.
Very nice and cozy house, almost directly on the sea. Just up the stairs and you're there. Cities like Renesse and Middelburg can be reached quickly by car and there are great ways to go on nice trips by bike. There is also a small playground for children in the village (5 minutes on foot) and my child had a lot of fun walking in the mudflats. Always my pleasure!
House was not clean. Dirty outside of everything. Windows especially. Workplace opposite house disturbing!
