The Ijsselmeer lake with its pebble and fine sandy beaches is approx. 300 metres away. Here you can go swimming, surfing, kite surfing, fishing, cycling and long walks. For dogs there are extra large meadows with bathing facilities for the dog, shallow small artificial waters. With access to the Isselmeer - here the dog can still be himself. Shopping, good restaurants - one right next to our holiday park - make your holiday a pleasure. Attractions such as the new beach bar with quiet music and incredibly good value cocktails on a fine sandy beach just a few minutes' walk away give you the ultimate Caribbean feeling. In summer, there is a large antique and flea market within walking distance on Sundays. Sights, museums, for young and old in the immediate vicinity. Beautiful old Dutch towns with charming architecture just a few minutes away by car, e.g. Medemblik - 5 km - old and new sailing harbour - Hoorn 20 km - Enkuizen - 25 km - with harbour and Zuiderzee Museum worth seeing - or even Amsterdam 60 km, indescribably beautiful. For children there is a large private playground with a kiosk within walking distance of our small children's playground, free admission for Vislust guests. Coffee terrace and many highlights for the kids, such as trampolines, large slides, wooden railway, swings and and and - which can be used free of charge by our small + large guests. Three kilometres away an Indor swimming pool with water slide - Indore playground in Medemblik - for children up to 16 years approx. 5 km away. The nearest harbour can be found here - historic train station to take the historic train to Hoorn and the long dyke with jetty for boat trips. In Enkuizen there is another large Indore swimming pool directly adjacent to a fine sandy beach by the sea. Spokjesland, also in Enkuizen, for children up to the age of 12, is a popular attraction for young families or grandparents with grandchildren. Golf course in the immediate vicinity Our manager will be happy to help you plan day trips, e.g. to the island of Texel or the North Sea. In the house - approx. 45 m² are optimally distributed over a spacious living/dining room with open-plan kitchen, 2 connected bedrooms, a hallway and the shower room. Due to the design of the house, the room height is 1.93 - 2.03 metres. The living room - cosy leather couch, flat screen TV, double doors to the terrace, radio/CD and WLAN. Modern gas heating provides cosy warmth in winter. The house is perfect for 2 adults and 2 small children or 1 teenager. Up to 2 dogs are also possible. The beds - bedroom: 1 double bed (140 x 200 cm), - children's room: 1 bunk bed with 2 sleeping places (90 x 200 cm), wardrobe The kitchen Kitchenette with appliances (fridge with separate freezer compartment, microwave, gas hob with oven, filter coffee machine, toaster, milk frother, hot air fryer, kettle, crockery, glasses and cutlery). All kitchen utensils are provided. Dining table for 4 people with bench and 2 chairs. The bathroom Small bathroom with shower (80x80 cm), washbasin, WC and hairdryer. Access for guests Laundry room There is a communal laundry room with washing machines & dryers in the front building at the entrance barrier (washing tokens can be purchased from the site management). Boating You can hire a boat for short trips from the management. For example, you can sail right into the centre of Medemblik or in the other direction to the Boxwei nature reserve. All waterways are signposted. The boats are licence-free in the size and speed offered. Playground There is a small, fenced-in playground near the front car park. Bathing Communal bathing jetty with a small sunbathing area The fully fenced property is approx. 150 m² in size, is located directly on the water and has a large terrace with lounge furniture by the canal. On the garden side there is another terrace with a dining area (table and 4 chairs), parasol, beach chair and 2 sun loungers for sunbathing. The direct water access is ideal for stand up paddling (SUP), kayaking or boating. A charcoal barbecue is also available. The small, fine holiday park with around 70 houses is located as a small peninsula in Onderdijk, directly on a large lake, the Groote Vliet, and is therefore completely surrounded by water. It can be reached on foot or by car via a small bridge. Whether for fishing, boating, swimming, kite surfing, sunbathing or long walks along the sea. The surroundings are simply made for it. You can expect pure relaxation and tranquillity in a beautiful natural setting, directly on the Ijsselmeer. The neighbourhood With its excellent transport links, the neighbourhood offers a mix of nature, beach, sea, leisure activities, peace and quiet at night, and short distances to museums and sights. There is also plenty for your children to experience in the neighbourhood. The Ijsselmeer is only knee-deep near the beach, perfect for the little ones to splash around in. A large adventure playground is a 5-minute walk away and an indoor swimming pool is a 5-minute drive away. So nothing stands in the way of a perfect holiday for the whole family. You can enjoy the marvellous view over the Ijsselmeer from the dyke in just 5 minutes on foot. Your pet is also very welcome here. The dog beach is also just a few minutes' walk away. The Ijsselmeer with various bathing beaches, a beach club, as well as shopping and leisure facilities (boats and bicycle hire) are also within walking distance. Whether for kite surfing, swimming, fishing, sailing, cycling, hiking or just to lie in the sun - golf & mini golf, everything is possible here. Would you prefer shopping, freshly baked fish, island hopping, a typical Dutch weekly market or a visit to a museum...? The historic harbour towns of Hoorn (18 km), Enkhuizen (14 km) or Medemblik (3 km) are certainly worth a visit. Amsterdam is only about 60 km away, perfectly accessible via Hoorn by Park & Ride public transport. The island of Texel is just over an hour away by car and ferry, as are the beautiful North Sea beaches on the other side of the coast.
