Terrazzina
Belvilla by OYO Terrazzina
Description
This apartment for 6 in Pergine Valdarno is situated on an estate in one of the annexes of a castle on a splendid hilltop location. The estate is known for its excellent olive oil. After WW2, Marquis Baldelli, who was the owner at the time, had the castle fully restored and returned to its original glory.
Arezzo's Antiques Market opens every month's first Saturday and Sunday of the month. You can go wine tasting in the vicinity, and every Monday is organized a themed Tuscan dinner in the ancient stable of the castle. Reservations are required and a minimum of 8 people are allowed. You can enjoy hiking and bike outings in the 113 half of the property, which includes olive groves and woods.
Outside, the private garden adjacent to the house is a wonderful place to enjoy a Tuscan meal or enjoy the splendid views across the estate. Children will love playing in the garden, while their parents cool down at the communal swimming pool. Pets are welcome.

Very warm welcome by Laura and Vincenzo! Accommodation was in accordance with the description, spacious rooms and excellent kitchen. Surroundings are unique with 360 degree views from the Castello in all directions.
The arrival was very cordial and personal by Laura and Simone. We were really "expected". The accommodation was great. We were in the La Terrazzina apartment on the 1st floor, making sitting in the garden a bit more difficult. Especially with food, it was always a sort of picnic😊 Filling the bag with everything and going to the garden. The bed and bath linen was cleaned once a week. There is a washing machine in the apartment so that saved a lot with the luggage. Every morning, except Sunday, a baker comes to the castle and he has everything. The pool is clean and has a beautiful view of the valley.
Beautiful surroundings and welcoming reception
After a long car ride we arrived at the destination via a steep gravel path. Immediately beautiful. And quiet .. old buildings that were beautifully maintained stood among the vines and olive trees waiting for vacationers. The reception was very friendly. With a bit of English and a bit of Italian, we were brought in to the wine tasting for arranging the paperwork. Once we arrived at the house we were surprised by the attractive interior of the rooms. All in the old style, from lampets with ruffles to robust cabinets and beds of heavy wood. Tiles on the floor and shutters for all windows. A wonderful stay during our vacation. Outside we had a private garden with a BBQ, a dining table and easy chairs from where we could marvel at the impressive valley. The staff (Simona and Laura) were always friendly and comfortable. Vincienzo did not turn his hand around for repairing defects and also found a nice driver to take our children to the train for the return journey. The wjn made by this Montozzi family is also delicious! All in all, our holiday has been a great time, with trips to Arezzo, Sienna, Firenze, Laterina (Medieval village) and we have been able to run around the location (many altitude meters) so you do not get bored. The biggest luxury? The lovely pool with sunbeds around, parasols and shade. And of course the football table and table tennis table. Thanks!
