Ideal for families and couples, the property is pet-friendly for up to two well-behaved pets (with a nightly fee). A private wood-fired hot tub offers serene lake views, and the stay includes free access to an on-site farm park where guests can meet animals like alpacas and lambs. A BBQ is available for warm summer evenings, and guests also receive discounts at the farm’s local-produce shop.
Located just a few minutes' drive from the centre of Hertford and the A10, this chalet offers the perfect balance between rural peace and urban convenience. Nearby attractions include Hertford Castle with its public gardens, and the Chadwell Way Sculpture Trail — a scenic five-mile walking route through Hertford, Ware, and Great Amwell. Inside, guests will find an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area, along with a private shower room. The kitchen comes equipped with all the essentials, including a stove, fridge, kettle, and dining space, while heating, bed linen, towels, and final cleaning are all included in the stay. Additional rules apply such as no lake swimming and restrictions on open flames inside, with check-in available on select days from 3–6 p.m.
