Het huisje is prima, maar op het park en de communicatie kan bijzonder veel worden aangemerkt. Het parkwinkeltje is het hele weekend dicht en het restaurant gaat pas tegen de avond open. Er is dus de hele dag geen mogelijkheid om op het park iets van eten of drinken of een ijsje te halen, en dat met temperaturen die oplopen tot 32 graden. Zelfs bij de receptie valt niks te halen. Verder is het een autoluw park, waar je zelfs niet je bagage of boodschappen met de auto naar het huisje mag brengen. Oplossing zijn golf karretjes, maar zo weinig dat die het hele weekend niet beschikbaar zijn. Resultaat: in de volle hitte door het park moeten lopen, vrij groot park, dus naar het zwembad lopen kost je 10 minuten en heen en weer lopen naar de auto (om verplicht buiten het park boodschappen te doen) kost je zo 30 minuten wandelen. Je kunt wachten op de shuttle maar dan kan je minimaal 15 min in de zon wachten met je boodschappen. Daarnaast is een autoluw park een leuk concept, maar als de golfkarretjes je om de oren vliegen en ook de eigen shuttles busjes met 30-40 km per uur door het park vliegen houdt het concept weinig stand. Dan nog over een mooi meer waar volop mee wordt geadverteerd, huren van kano’s, bootjes, sups, klinkt allemaal heel leuk, helaas met 32 graden nog niet mogelijk omdat het nog dicht is in verband met het water dat nog te koud is… de mini golf was de hele zondag gesloten omdat een externe groep van buiten alles af heeft gehuurd. Alle winkels gesloten en voor iedereen op t park is er niks te krijgen, maar voor de externe groep worden tenten opgebouwd en staan food trucks paraat, te zot voor woorden. Alles bij elkaar drukt een aardig stempel op het weekend en zonde van het park dat fijn en ruim is opgezet. Hopelijk doen jullie, in ieder geval in de communicatie bij het boeken, iets mee.
