Description
Giethoorn holiday park offers a variety of different modern accommodations. However, there is one thing they all have in common. Each is located right on the water with direct access to Het Bovenwijde lake. You can select from a variety of different accommodation types. The comfortable and fully furnished Meerkoet variant (NL-8355-11) is suitable for 4 people. The 4-person types De Rietzanger (NL-8355-10), De Reiger (NL-8355-12) and the 6-person types De Stern (NL-8355-14), De Overstern (NL-8355-26) and De Roerdomp (NL-8355-27) even come with a second bathroom. The wonderful location of NL-8355-26 certainly deserves a mention. Situated at the head of the spit, you have a marvellously vast view across Het Belterwijde. All water lodges are equipped with WiFi and a terrace/garden with garden furniture. From February till the end of Oktober an electro sloop is included in the price during your stay.

Lovely house with access to the sloop. Delicious. Cleaning may be better for the costs charged. But it is a top location in beautiful Giethoorn.
It was a great chalet with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Also the sloop was a nice addition to the whole. The environment was certainly nice and beautiful to make trips by boat, Giethoorn is a beautiful small town with many good restaurants A pity that during our stay (21) the terrace was in the afternoon shade, because the weather was very erratic. Beautiful holiday accommodation and spacious and neat bungalows!
The arrival was warm. I was mistaken in the distance from parking place to house. Since I have been ill and had no energy to get there. But we made it to my fellow residents. The caretaker allowed us to use a wheelchair for a week. What was very grateful otherwise I would not have benefited from this week. I found the accommodation a bit disappointing for the money we had paid for it. The furniture chairs were very worn. Sunday we got 3 other chairs that looked good. The layout was very basic. It was tidy and problems were resolved properly, and if I booked my house at Belvilla, it does not say that it is unsuitable for people with a disability. It was only when I received the deposit and tourist tax papers from the Roompot that it stated what I find strange. Otherwise you could have ordered another house at a different park. It is that I had help from my fellow residents otherwise I would have had a problem and you are not going to relax for a week.
