Beautifully situated, completely new interior, hospitable excellent care.
From June 12th to 26th, 2022 we were guests in the holiday apartment forget-me-not. Already on arrival we were extremely pleasantly surprised. The apartment no longer corresponded at all to the pictures known from the description. The rooms were completely renovated and redecorated, as well as completely furnished with new, very beautiful handcrafted furniture. As far as the equipment of the apartment is concerned, everything you could possibly need was there - nothing was missing! Starting with the most modern TV and entertainment technology through to every conceivable kitchen utensil - everything is there. The location of the apartment was very convenient, at least for our needs: there was heavenly peace day and night. No street noise, no crowing roosters at 5am and if our own dog (King Charles Spaniel) didn't have to "call our attention" to visitors from time to time, no barking dogs either! Our hosts were also extremely friendly and ready to provide information at any time. And her family dog (Labrador) got along very well with all the guest dogs (3). We can't say too much about hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity, as we have always looked for hiking tours that are a little further away. And since the weather also played along (only 1 rainy day, but a few times over 30°C) we had a very nice hiking holiday with our dog. A big thank you to the Zitzelsberger family from the Grundmann family in Oppach.
Beautiful location, newly renovated bathroom with large walk-in shower, kitchen with all the trimmings, and a very friendly owner.
We felt very comfortable. The apartment was very clean, nothing was missing. The kitchen had everything you could need and the beds were comfortable. We ordered bread rolls from the landlady, who was very nice, and they were ready for us every morning in front of the entrance. After the daily hearty breakfast we were full of energy to explore the beautiful Bavarian Forest. We also wanted to use the sauna once, but canceled because we saw and hiked a lot every day, and were simply too tired in the evening because of the wonderfully fresh air. We are still raving about this week long vacation. It was wonderful.
Absolutely complete apartment with very nice and prudent landlords, a bit out of the way but quiet and idyllic. Great for hiking and relaxing. If you like glass and crystal, this is the right place for you.
Very nice apartment in a quiet environment, which has given the dog a stress-free New Year's Eve.
