Spacious and cozy kelo log cabin in the peaceful Sivakkatie log cabin area. The area comprises just over ten cabins and is situated right on the outskirts of Ruka village. The single-story cottage has 3 bedrooms, one of which has a double bed, one with a double bed + bunk bed for three, and one with a double bed and the upper part of a bunk bed for one. The cabin offers comfort and space for up to 10 people. The location is ideal for sports enthusiasts, nature lovers, and families with children. The cabin offers stunning views of the Ruka slopes. You can access the ski trail, fitness track, cycling route, and snowmobile trail directly from the cabin's yard. The nearest ski lift is just over a kilometer away, and you can step into nature right from the cabin's backyard. Ruka village is a 1 km walk or a 2 km drive away. The nearest grocery store is located at 500 m, and the snowmobile rental is also conveniently close, just 300m away. Therefore, a variety of services are easily accessible. The cabin features a spacious living room/kitchen where you can prepare delicious meals and enjoy quality time together. It is equipped with ample tableware for 10 people. A large natural stone fireplace adds warmth and atmosphere to the living space. At the end of the day, you can relax in the log sauna. The sauna and the spacious bathroom with two showers were renovated in the summer of 2023. The sauna facilities also include a dressing room with a separate WC. Another WC is located in the entrance hall. You can easily step out from the sauna onto the covered, fairly large terrace. Warm storage for e.g. storing skis, there is also a ski waxing stand. Families with children are catered for with high chair, travel cot, a potty, sleds, a kick sled, as well as various board games and books available for guests to use. Additional information: Wi-Fi = 5G. The rental price includes 2 baskets of firewood (starter kit), after which the customer is responsible for obtaining any additional firewood. Final cleaning and bed linen are included in the rent. Other distances: Oulanka National Park / Pieni Karhunkierros trail 22 km, Riisitunturi National Park 29 km. Reservations start at 16:00 and end at 12:00 on the day of departure. Pets allowed for extra price (no cats) 24.10.2024 onwards. Only one dog / reservation.
