The surrounding region of Harz is known for its natural beauty and diverse scenery, which is very popular for hiking. Supermarkets are at 300 m and restaurants are at 500 m. You can enjoy skiing on the cross country slopes 7 km away. For excursions, the famous Devil's Wall at Weddersleben, the Feiniger Gallery, and the German Grand Canyon in Thale, are popular.
The central heating keeps you comfortable indoors. You can prepare lavish dinners in the large kitchen with an oven and a coffee machine. In the sitting room, you can enjoy the evening tea with some snacks. Parking is available.

The accommodation is easily accessible, in the center of Bad Suderode. Hiking possibilities are available, if it is weather technology possible, but we had bad luck. So only the car was left to explore the area. Many places are fast (30km) accessible and thanks to the many bypasses pretty straightforward. The accommodation is functional, it is all available (this is missing in the description, because then you could leave a lot at home, for example, hair dryer, tea towels) In general, the impression that in the apartment everything is used, what in their own living room no more is needed. We were there on New Year's Eve and had that big problem, that it was very difficult a restaurant or similar. to find, because almost all had after the Christmas holidays until 04.01. closed

Authentic accommodation with beautiful views from the balcony. Quiet village and good base for all kinds of activities. We are definitely considering using this property again.
