Right next to the cottage you have mushroom and berry picking areas (during that season) and 12 km away is the Verla Factory Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Suolajärvi is rich in fish, for example: salmon, trout, pike perch, perch, pike, bream and vendace. For rent (ask from the owner) 10 hp boat with outboard motor.
