A cozy log cabin designed for guest comfort, located in a peaceful spot on the shores of Lake Päijänne. 53 km south of Jyväskylä, Lake Päijänne 30 m. Log cabin (2002) and wood-heated lakeside sauna (2024). Shallow beach with a sandy bottom, a long pier, own rowing boat. The cabin includes two sofas, a heat-storing fireplace, a wood stove, Google TV, and an air source heat pump. A long dining group seats eight. The stylishly furnished kitchenette is well-equipped for preparing and serving meals. The washroom has a shower cubicle and a WC. The upper floor has two double beds. The ~10 m² upper floor has sloping ceilings and relatively steep stairs. The bedside lamps are equipped with USB-A ports for charging phones and other devices. A 120/10 Mbps internet connection and wireless internet connection (Wi-Fi modem) are available. The separate 32 m² wood-heated sauna by the lake includes a dressing room with a fridge/freezer compartment. The washroom has a shower and hand basin. The sauna features a wood-heated stove, with dark walls and light benches creating a peaceful atmosphere. Windows provide a lovely view of the lake and yard. The lakeside sauna includes two sleeping areas – one with a double bed, the other with a 120 x 200 cm bed, and an air source heat pump. Bedside lights here also have USB-A ports. The two sofas in the cabin's living area are sofa beds, which convert into extra beds of 140 x 200 cm and 160 x 200 cm. The covered porch has furniture for 8 people and a spacious gas grill. Please note that the cabin is rented for a maximum of 8 guests for peaceful vacationing. The water in the well has been tested and found to be good and clean. An electric outboard motor for the rowing boat can be rented directly from the owner, price 25 €/reservation. The parking area by the cabin has a wall outlet for car heating during winter. For an additional fee, an electric vehicle can be charged using a 16A Type2 Schuko outlet with the guest’s own charger. The forested slope plot has a parking area by the road. Stairs lead from the parking area to the cabin’s terrace, and further stairs lead to the lakeside sauna and pier. There is a boat ramp on the property where guests can launch their own boat or jet ski. In front of the lakeside sauna is artificial turf, suitable for various outdoor games. The cabin has a Frisbee golf basket, discs, various outdoor and board games, and two SUP boards, all available for guest use. Lake Päijänne is rich in fish. There is a separate fish cleaning table on the property. A water tap in the yard with “summer water” is available for rinsing cars or water play. Bicycles can be rented directly from the owner, who can also arrange visits to a traditional Finnish farmhouse. In winter, an ice hole for swimming can be made upon request. Ski resort Purnuvuori is 29 km away. During winter, when the ice conditions allow, there is a direct connection across Lake Päijänne to the Himos event centre (approx. 20 km over the ice).
