Close to the ruins of the castle, the cottage will help you discover all the charms of a still preserved, wild natural environment. The house has two open fires: one in the pleasant lounge and the other in the dining room. You also get an unbroken view of Château de Montaigle which is located just to the rear.
In the heart of the Molignée valley, the cottage is at the centre of numerous tourist (Maredsous and Maredret Abbeys, Falaën fortified farmhouse, Dinant, Annevoie gardens...) and sporting activities (Dinant Aventure, Ravel 2 and 3, descent down the Lesse, mountain bike riding, boat hire with no need for a permit in Dinant...), as well as numerous activities involving nature: Walks.
Motorway is 23 km from the house whereas the airport is 44km away.

Second time we came here. Fantastic location. Some defects that were not there last year but still very satisfied!
Too bad that 1 bathroom / shower was out of order. As a result, another bathroom could only be reached through the bedroom of another couple. This was a major shortcoming. Everything else was there, but the decor is very old-fashioned. This home is overrated for comfort.
The cottage has a very nice location but is no longer so well maintained. The bathroom door does not close, many insects enter, toilet continues to run, kitchen equipment is very worn, ... We paid 890 euros for 4 days and expected more for this price.
The cottage is as described on the site and the photos. It is very spacious and everything was very neat. It is pleasant that the cottage is in a quiet location and has a terrace and garden to sit outside in good weather .
Very nice house in a beautiful location.SUPER BEAUTIFUL view of the Ruins. Cottage was very clean on arrival, good beds and the bathrooms were all 3 perfect to use because they belonged to the room. Highly recommended!
We had a great weekend here, the location of the house was beautiful. Kitchen is in need of a facelift. Spijtig that we always had to go outside in the garage for the freezer. Huisje also shows several other defects. A trip to the abbey of Maredsous is definitely worth it. We have been renting houses in the Ardennes for at least 15 years and this house is certainly not worth 4.5/5 to us (except for the location).
