Zierow is located about 6 km northwest of Wismar directly on the Baltic Sea. You are only 0.5 km away from the seabeach and 0.6 km away from water sports. Restaurants and supermarkets are 0.5 km and 2 km away respectively. For day-trips, you can consider visiting Schwerin, Rostock, and Lübeck, which are 40 km, 55 km, and 60 km away respectively.
You will feel at home as soon as you enter and arrive in the spacious kitchen-living area. Fresh sea air is always there on the terrace and in the garden. Children can play to their heart's content in the garden with the fence guarding them. For providing home-like comfort to little guests, a cot and a high chair are available.

The house and above all the sanitary facilities were clean and spacious. The equipment was more functional. So far everything necessary for self-catering was there, but the rooms were only equipped with the bare essentials, without e.g. pictures or decks or the like. So the living / dining area looked a bit sparse, it echoed strongly. The chairs lacked upholstery, which is probably useful for practicality (cleanliness / hygiene), but since not all people fit on the couch, it becomes quite uncomfortable over time. The biggest problem actually was the very, very low beds !! For older people in particular, it is almost impossible to get out of bed without help. That might have to be reconsidered! A vacuum cleaner instead of a broom and dustpan would have been nice too. Zierow will not be the place of our dreams now, because apart from the campsite with good gastronomy (luckily !!!) it has NOTHING to offer: the beach is small (short and narrow) and does not offer a proper opportunity for a walk near the beach / water. In view of the many holiday homes and the large campsite, unimaginable for the summer! Otherwise we had to use the car a lot. As a starting point for day trips in the area, Zierow is well located, but nothing more. The lack of internet reception is also a major minus point. But at least we knew that there was no WiFi in the house, but even so it was rather poor with the reception. Communication with the Concierge Service Wismar was friendly and uncomplicated. All in all, we had a good time as a family with good autumn weather. But we won't be able to recommend the place to anyone.

Wat een heerlijke ontsnapping! Het huis voelde als een thuis weg van huis, met gezellige interieurs en een geweldige keuken voor familiegerechten, We genoten van de nabijgelegen watersporten en maakten dagtochten naar Schwerin en Lübeck, De gastheren waren zeer gastvrij en responsief, wat ons verblijf nog aangenamer maakte, Zou graag terugkomen!
This place was just what we needed! Clean, comfortable, and so close to the beach, The living area was perfect for our game nights, Just wish there were more towels provided, but everything else was great!
