Description
This agriturismo is located between Umbria and Tuscany, in the quiet countryside and about 7 km from Lake Trasimeno. The holiday home is surrounded by rolling hills, vineyards, olive trees and lavender and is blessed with a magnificent view. In total there are 11 apartments.
The location is ideal for hiking through the natural parks. You will also find several nice towns within a short distance, such as Castiglione del Lago, Tuoro, Passignano, Città della Pieve, Paciano, Panicale, Perugia, Assisi, Chianciano Terme, San Casciano dei Bagni and Montepulciano.
Apartment Zinie does not have a reserved space, however, it is possible to go down to the ground floor where you will find yourself at the back in a space with a beautiful view, where you can have a table reserved for yourself for the entire stay. But there are also other tables, which can be used by the other guests of the structure. The agriturismo sells local wine and olive oil. There is a communal swimming pool and for the children there is play equipment and a football field. It is therefore also an ideal place for families with children.

Simona, Frederico and their son were absolutely charming - perfect hosts, Simona (who speaks perfect English) was there for any advice and help, which she offered graciously and willingly, At the same time they were discreet and happy to let you enjoy your holiday, The facilities are brilliant - the pool area is lovely and spacious (plenty of sunbeds and outdoor shower), the BBQ and communal area is exceptional - every possible gadget and gizmo you could want, We chose to use the communal kitchen and BBQ most evenings, we were the only ones using the facilities and sat out to enjoy beautiful sunsets over the valley, The location of the property is brilliant, Close to Citta della Pieve and the A1 for exploring, the lake and Perugia too, We know the area quite well but discovered some great new places including the Lamborghini winery, We love Cortona and spent a day there, took the ferry to Isola Maggiore and also enjoyed the open air cinema in Castiglione del Lago, There are literally loads of supermarkets, restaurants and pizzerias nearby, including some supermarkets that stay open on Sundays until the evening - very useful, We stayed for 10 nights in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment, which was very clean and had everything we could have wanted,,,,apart from our own outside terrace, That said, there was a shared terrace area outside our door and we used this from time to time, and it was not a problem at all, We made new friends during our stay, Each apartment is private and there is no feeling of encroachment, but we did find that we visited our new friends in their apartment and ate on their terrace one night! There was a mix of different nationalities when we were there
I had a fantastic time at Zinie! The kitchen was just what we needed to prepare meals with local ingredients, and the communal area was perfect for enjoying dinner with a view, The staff were friendly and helpful too,
De afneembare planken voor de schuur zijn een hit! Terwijl het gewicht door het zwembad tot een minimum was gereduceerd, werd de winter geschilderd en werd de fantastische balans tot niets gereduceerd en stond het zwembad in lichterlaaie,
We loved the proximity to the ski lifts! It made our skiing days so much easier, The chalet was spacious and had a lovely rustic charm,
Dit was een geweldige plek om te ontspannen. De locatie was rustig maar toch dichtbij leuke activiteiten zoals Aqualand Cap D'Agde. Het gemeubileerde terras was perfect om 's avonds te ontspannen.
Zinie was een heerlijke retraite! Het buitenzwembad was een fantastische plek om te ontspannen na het verkennen van het prachtige omliggende platteland, De tuinviews waren sereen en we waardeerden de rustige sfeer, Zeker aan te raden voor een vredige ontsnapping!
