Our holiday apartment is located in a wooded area and can accommodate up to 5 people. The apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 fully equipped kitchen, 1 bathroom, and a separate entrance. A private covered seating area with a barbecue is available for guests, as well as various play options in our garden, such as a ping-pong table, basketball hoop, swing, slide, sandbox, playhouse, and play kitchen. Swimming in the pool is possible during the summer months from mid-June to the end of August. The town center is about a 10-minute walk away. There are several discount supermarkets and smaller specialty shops, as well as pharmacies, doctors, a police station, the town hall, banks, restaurants, and the train station.
You can explore the town and the surrounding villages and towns on foot or by bicycle. For example, you can visit our historic church, the former water tower with its gallery, take a guided tour (by appointment), enjoy leisure activities at Lake Visselsee with a large playground and barbecue facilities, a skate park, a barefoot path, Kneipp therapy, and an indoor swimming pool with a sauna. This is a great place for inline skating, with many cycle paths and the Nordpfad hiking trail. Walking through the fields and forests is also excellent. A bicycle rental service is available in the village.
