Description

Great holiday home on a farm near the village of Forvik in Helgeland. For family holidays and anglers who want a fishing house with good sea fishing. Great hiking terrain. Handicapped accessible with wheelchair ramp at the entrance. The house, which is located on a farm with a working farm building and farm animals, is pleasantly furnished in a farmhouse style and where the kitchen and bathroom were renovated in 2005. On the ground floor is a kitchen, living room with large TV and many international channels, large bathroom with toilet, shower and underfloor heating and 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds. Wide sliding doors without a door frame. Up in the attic is a living room with terrace, 4 bedrooms with 2 single beds and a toilet room. All beds can be put together to make a double bed. Free high-capacity internet. 2 heat pumps and a wood stove in the living room that provides comfortable warmth. From the loft and the terrace upstairs there is a view of the sea 400 m below and on the bright nights in spring and summer you can enjoy the beautiful sunset on the horizon. At the entrance there is a warm sun area with outdoor furniture and a gas grill. In the garden there is a grill hut where the family can gather for fun and grilling. Here you can gather after the fishing trip and grill your own caught fish and enjoy the holiday feeling. Sunny outdoor area. The sea is rich in sea fishing and numerous fishing grounds. You can fish in the sheltered sound at Forvik or out in the open sea area outside. 19 foot Kværnø self-bailing aluminum boats with 50 hp engine, GPS, chart plotter and echo sounder can be rented from a local boat rental company, 650 m from the house. The boats are located at the floating dock and here is an indoor filtration bench with light and running water. The boats can be rented between 15.3-15.10 and must be booked in advance to be guaranteed a boat rental. In the vicinity there are large areas that invite hiking for the whole family. Up in the mountain behind the house there is a magnificent view of the sea and the many islands outside, of which the island of Vega is the largest. Day trips by car can be made to the coastal towns of Brønnøysund in the south with the mountain Torghatten which has a hole right through the mountain and is a tourist attraction and Sandnessjøen in the north. A car ferry goes to the island of Vega which is also worth visiting. Good parking at the house. A boat trip to Hamnøya outside with several idyllic sandy beaches is a great experience for the whole family. 400 m to a restaurant/coffee roaster and grocery store.
