Holiday home in Tangermünde with Wi-Fi

A small, cobblestone alley leads down to the Elbe River from the Salt Church. Number 11 nestles narrowly against its neighbors, but behind the house lies a cozy, paved courtyard… This narrow, three-story timber-framed house was built shortly after the great city fire of 1617. For generations, it was home to Elbe fishermen who traveled down the river in their barges in the spring. With the onset of winter, they returned, pulled along towpaths, and spent the winter in the house, protecting their fishing boats from the drifting ice in the small harbor, which at that time lay below the house and is now a meadow. Depending on the number of people, you can rent "half" of the lower house – or "the whole" house.

For up to two people, you rent the ground floor and the first floor; the attic remains unrented, so you have the house entirely to yourselves. For three or more people, the attic is included. The entire house is ideal for 4 adults and 2-3 children. It can also accommodate 6 adults.
To enter the house, you will need a four-digit code for the key safe at the front door. While the house is a proud 350 years old, since we live in Berlin ourselves, we installed a small safe at the front door to simplify key exchange. I will send you the code, along with our emergency contact number (just in case), immediately after you have paid the rent.
If you are arriving by car: If you're lucky, you can park directly in front of the house. If there are no spaces available, that's no problem, as there is a parking lot at the end of Zollensteig, right by the Elbe promenade.
