Description
The small and idyllic resort town of Zorge (a district of Walkenried) is located in the beautiful Harz Mountains and is surrounded by mountains, forests, and meadows. The apartment was completely renovated in 2020. The exterior entrance is accessed via an external staircase (approximately 10 steps). The bedroom with a double bed is separated from the living room by a curtain. Make yourself comfortable in the living room or enjoy the warm hours together on the terrace. A garden barbecue is available.
The region offers a variety of leisure and recreational opportunities. In winter: kilometers of cross-country ski trails, winter hiking trails, natural and snow-covered toboggan runs, ice skating at the ice rinks in Bad Sachsa and Braunlage, and snowshoe hikes. In Hohegeiß (approx. 5 km away), there is a ski stadium with a double lift system. Braunlage (approx. 12 km away) has several winter sports facilities. The Wurmberg ski stadium, with its cable car, chairlift, drag lifts, and toboggan run, has snow-covered and floodlit slopes. Bad Sachsa (approx. 10 km away) also has a ski stadium with drag lifts. Take advantage of the central location of your vacation home for excursions in the surrounding area. For example, take a trip on the Brockenbahn from Wernigerode or Schierke to the Brocken (approx. 20 km away), visit the World Heritage Site "Rammelsberg" in Goslar (40 km), the 1,000-year-old city of Goslar, or the half-timbered towns of Wernigerode and Quedlinburg (30 km).
