A home away from home! You'll experience this at the "Eggergütl." Located at 1,000 meters above sea level on a south-facing slope, it offers breathtaking views of the impressive mountains of the Berchtesgaden region. Enjoy complete privacy, as you have the entire house and garden to yourself. What could be better than relaxing in a deck chair on the balcony or one of the two terraces? A wood-burning stove adds to the cozy atmosphere. A special feature is the bedroom with its large panoramic window and the bathtub with a view.
We completely renovated the front part of the Eggergütl holiday home – dating back to 1880 – in 2017/2018 with great dedication and the help of many family and friends. However, we didn't want to completely forget the original character. Each room contains a piece of furniture that was already in the original house. For the interior furnishings and flooring, we used local woods (larch, spruce, and ash) because a healthy living environment was important to us. All new furniture is high-quality, handcrafted carpentry.
"Barefoot House"—natural, high-quality larch wood floors were important to us. We would be delighted if you would remove your shoes in the entrance area. This way, the house remains a welcoming and comfortable home for you and future guests.
