House Windjammer, Apartment 26 "Marina"

Welcome to Heiligenhafen – the Baltic Sea is right on your doorstep!

This modernized holiday apartment is located on the third floor and features a light-filled living area with a sofa and flat-screen TV, a dining area, and an adjoining open-plan kitchenette. The separate bedroom offers a comfortable double bed (approx. 160 x 200 cm) and a spacious wardrobe. From the living room, you can access the south-facing balcony with a view of the inland lake right outside the door... and just around the corner: there it is, the Baltic Sea!

The "Windjammer" building is ideally situated on the north side of the inland lake! The beach is just a few steps away. And the building is a great starting point for everything you might want to do on your holiday: Restaurants, a playground, a skate park, and kiosks are all within easy walking distance. A bakery, bicycle rental, a mini-golf course, and – for the more athletically inclined – a fitness studio are also just 800 meters away. There's a fantastic hiking trail leading to the cliffs – depending on the season, you might encounter Galloway cattle and their calves.

Our charming old town is about 2 km away – the best way to get there is to stroll along the lakeside promenade right into the heart of the town. With its traditional fishing harbor, numerous shops, delicious restaurants, the "Graswarder" nature reserve, the fine sandy beach, and the longest pier on the coast, our little harbor town has a lot to offer.

You can conveniently park your car in the house's parking lot – and feel free to leave it there. In summer, in addition to the regular buses, the Heiligenhafen "Bimmelbahn" (a small tourist train) runs, providing a quick trip to the town or the harbor. Alternatively, you can easily rent a bicycle from the local rental shop. This gives you great flexibility. Heiligenhafen is a fantastic starting point for all kinds of cycling tours: you can reach Großenbrode in just over an hour – even a bit faster with an e-bike – or enjoy the unique view from the Fehmarnsund Bridge and cycle directly to Fehmarn.
