Boat trips to Garpen's lighthouse start from Bergkvara. Blomlöf's fish smokehouse is well worth a visit. Kalmar offers attractions such as Kalmar Castle and Kalmar County Museum. Skälby farm with fun playgrounds and close contact with the farm's animals is usually a popular excursion destination for families with children.
