Welcome to a charming cottage from the early 1900s, carefully renovated while preserving much of its original character and atmosphere. Here you stay privately on a large natural plot just south of Likenäs in northern Värmland – a perfect place for peace, relaxation, and closeness to both forest and water. From the cottage, it is about a 20-minute walk to the Klarälven river, where you can swim at several different beaches. Depending on the water level, the landscape changes and at certain times large sandy beaches appear along the riverbank – perfect for sunny days, picnics, or peaceful evenings by the water. The area offers plenty for those who enjoy nature and outdoor activities. At Vildmarks Center in Sysslebäck, you can rent canoes for trips along the Klarälven river. There are also excellent opportunities for fishing, hiking, cycling, and exploring the beautiful forests of Värmland. During winter, the Branäs ski resort is only a short drive away and offers skiing for the whole family. The cottage features a large terrace in the best sun position, ideal for enjoying long summer days and quiet evenings. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a dining area for shared meals – dishes are washed by hand, adding to the authentic cottage feeling. On the ground floor, there is also a cozy living room with a daybed that easily converts into a double bed, as well as a modern bathroom with a washing machine. Upstairs – please note that the staircase is steep – there are sleeping areas for both adults and children. One part of the upper floor has a double bed, while the other includes a bunk bed and a cozy sofa corner where you can relax with a book or perhaps watch TV after a day of adventures. Here you will find a peaceful and charming stay surrounded by the beautiful nature of Värmland all year round.
