The property is located in the heart of the historic center of Capoliveri, a hilly town 164 meters above sea level and a popular holiday destination for most of the year. Recently purchased, the owning family is slowly beginning to renovate the house in a simple and functional style. The main attraction is, of course, the terrace, which, with its panoramic views, is the focal point of the house.
Living in one of the oldest houses in the country is a wonderful experience, but the spectacular views from the large terrace will certainly make your stay unforgettable and unique. A minimalist elegance prevails, primarily due to the seamless integration of the interior and exterior spaces. The two bedrooms are comfortable, offering a total area of 56 square meters spread over two levels. Multifunctional solutions have been implemented, with the second bedroom being converted into a multi-purpose room featuring a sofa that transforms into a 140 cm wide bed. Access to the house is not straightforward, but it is well worth the effort. The entrance from the main street is reached by climbing 40 steps over three floors. Inside, a staircase leads to the kitchen/dining room and the fantastic terrace. From here, you can enjoy views of Montecristo, the island of Pianosa, and Corsica on one side, and the town square of Capoliveri on the other, with the sea and the continent in the distance in the background. The Calamita promontory lies in front of the terrace, the starting point for numerous trekking and mountain biking excursions and the venue for the 2021 Marathon Championship. As an additional service, a private garage can be booked, located approximately 300 meters from the house (entrance door measures 2 x 2.2 meters). Bed linen and towels are provided upon request, as are pets.
