Description
5 star holiday home in Hemmet
Experience the houseboat Amalie - Maritime luxury in Bork Harbour Unique 2-storey houseboat in the old fishing village of Bork Harbour at the southern end of Ringkøbing Fjord. The houseboat Amalie was built in 2007 to the most modern designs and is equipped with 3 flat screens, radio and fibre optic internet, and there are 4 charging stations for electric cars in the harbour car park. Enjoy a fantastic maritime experience for the whole family - even if you don't have seamanship skills, and the houseboat is so large and stable that you only hear a faint and cosy creaking sound. Imagine being able to follow the traffic of the sailboats, watch the fishermen return to harbour after a long day on the fjord from one of the boat's 3 terraces and watch from another terrace as the day's catch is unloaded. From the first floor terrace you can see the bird sanctuary Tipperne and all the way across to the sand dunes out by the North Sea, and it's a fantastic panoramic view that must be experienced - not least when the sun goes down and colours the sky red. And if the weather doesn't invite you to stay on the terrace, there is still a wonderful view of the entire inner harbour with its fishing boats, as Amalie is the closest neighbour to the fishing boats and is equipped with a large panorama window on the side. On the lower deck, you arrive via a large covered east-facing terrace to a well-equipped kitchen-dining room. You'll then pass through a short corridor with access to a bathroom with toilet, shower and sauna on one side and a bathroom with toilet and spa on the other. You'll then reach the ship's master bedroom, where you can lie on the large double bed and watch the light sparkle in the water just a few metres from your pillow. A staircase leads up to the upper deck, where you are greeted by an unrivalled view of life in the harbour and the shopping street on the opposite side of the harbour or the many windsurfers out on the fjord. The living room is furnished with modern leather furniture and a wood-burning stove for those chilly evenings. From the living room there is access to a cabin with two single beds and a cabin with a double bed. Both cabins are equipped with a wardrobe. On the other side of the private car park is a lovely beach, which is particularly child-friendly as the water is very shallow and calm. If, on the other hand, you want to swim in the roaring North Sea, the sea at Nymindegab is only a few kilometres away. If you feel like exercising in the midst of the holiday atmosphere, a few hundred metres away there is a nice running path that follows the fjord and along the way there are five stations with 2-3 different exercise equipment at each location. You can also rent bikes on site if you want to go a little further afield. In week 31 there is a music festival in Bork Harbour with a number of well-known and lesser-known artists, which attracts a large number of visitors to the site. However, please note that the houseboat is not available for youth groups.
