Sleeping arrangements include a double bed, a bunk bed, and two single beds, spread across three rooms, ensuring a good night’s sleep for everyone. Enjoy the lovely outdoor patio with garden furniture, where you can soak up the sun to the sound of birdsong. If you prefer shade, there is also a covered veranda. A short path through the forest leads down to a beautiful sandy beach where you can enjoy refreshing swims. The beach is located in a calm bay that opens out into the sea. In addition to the fantastic and tranquil archipelago nature nearby, there are many great excursion options in the area. Heading further north on Väddö, you’ll reach Grisslehamn, which has plenty to offer during the summer. From here, you can also take a trip to Åland with the Eckerö Line ferry. At Väddö Alpaca Farm, you can meet alpacas, enjoy a coffee, and browse the shop—well worth a visit for both adults and children. Be sure to also visit central Norrtälje, where you can stroll through the charming old-town alleys and along the canal. Here you’ll find a wide selection of restaurants, cafés, and shops. For services closer to the cottage, there is a grocery store and more in Älmsta, beautifully located by the Väddö Canal. While in Älmsta, don’t miss Väddö Gårdsmejeri, where you can enjoy delicious burgers and ice cream. Also worth a visit is Kröns Trädgård, a beautiful garden center with a café.
