Fantastic panoramic view at the back. Beautiful open area for walking. Since the weather was nice, we spent a lot of time outside and hardly used the indoor (game) and sauna facilities. In the kitchen, we couldn't get the oven to the requested temperature. And we missed a baking dish. But we enjoyed the weekend just fine.

The house is located in a very beautiful area. The first impression is spacious, with many possibilities. Unfortunately, the house is currently being lived in with wear and tear. There is neither a handover nor a return. As a result, many things are no longer quite right, which is very unfortunate. 6 different coffee mugs, some with broken handles, dull knives, leaking heating in the basement, cold radiators. (Jean-Marc had to repair it at 8°C), incomplete billiards, broken or worn table tennis paddles. The charcoal grill is rusty, the oven is very dirty, a lampshade is missing in the living room, boules are lying around and rusting. The seat of the rocking chair is damaged, and the guitar has 2 strings. This is very unfortunate because the house and the garden do not deserve this, but the internet pictures no longer reflect the current state. However, I do not want to give a bad review, as we still had a nice time there.

Dear, Location very good but totally not clean, a lot is broken. The chairs are there as decoration but don't sit on them, everything outside looked good in the photos. The BBQ was dirty from the previous ashtrays full on the table. And the cabinets smelled very musty, not to mention the glasses. Our conclusion, more control is needed.

Beautiful house, it's a shame that items were damaged by other vacationers who stayed before us and that this is not being repaired, the main things are fine, like the beds and games. The house was also not clean, there were many cobwebs and clutter on the floor, we had to take care of that ourselves. Advice: spend 1 or 2 days fixing things, make sure to address loose lamps and tiles, holes and cracks in the walls, this beautiful house is really worth it, and charge a deposit for people who still like to damage things (500 euros).

The photos are unfortunately outdated. Many things are in need of maintenance, and some toys were partially incomplete. We missed garden furniture where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful view. Beautiful spot, a lot of peace and privacy. No reception; after a phone call with Belvilla, I finally received a text from the owner with a key code. A bit of faded glory and overdue maintenance; peeling paint and dead plants by the front door, broken screens, dirty windows, and a pot with cigarette butts by the back door. Inside, broken light bulbs, a broken ceiling in the sauna. We cleaned a number of things before using them. Shower cabin downstairs but not used; not clear and loose rubber. No toilet paper. The sports equipment was pushed aside like a pile of old scrap metal. The pétanque court was quite damaged; still usable. The bathroom upstairs and the bedrooms were clean and had good beds. The photos on the website seem quite outdated.

We enjoyed the surroundings, the large garden, and the sheltered patio with a big picnic table for barbecuing. The house is nice with four bedrooms and a bright living room. BUT the house is dirty in several places, not really clean. There are also various things like broken lamps or crooked screen doors, and there is a strange smell in the bathroom upstairs and downstairs in the storage room. Super unfortunate, because if the house had been clean, we would definitely come back.

Great house, but could use some improvements here and there... like pillows on the dining chairs and on the couches... maybe some more cutlery for a larger group. The heating works well, and the beds are good. The surroundings are absolutely lovely for walking and visiting the small surrounding villages. We had a super stay.

The holiday home could definitely use some renovation. Even small issues like a showerhead that won't stay up due to a missing rubber piece, or a cabinet door knob that keeps coming loose, and drawers that take two other drawers with them when you open them. There's a lot of clutter in the cabinets and the Christmas decorations that are still hanging, but also the patio door where the handle was lying next to it and the screen door outside on the ground. Almost all the screens were torn.

Despite the low price, the standard of this house was really substandard. A short summary of the experiences during our stay: - 3 leaks, in the kitchen, the garage and the bathroom upstairs (all not unknown to the owners as it turned out) - Locked out due to a defective front door lock (the owner was also known as it turned out) - broken oven dishes in the drawer under the oven on arrival, glass shards everywhere - mold, bad smells and missing sealant with dirt in the bathroom downstairs - doorknobs in the kitchen largely missing - dirt, dust, cobwebs in places that should be cleaned regularly - tobacco residue in the drawers next to a bed - cupboards that do not open/close due to crooked drawers, doors and shelves - coat rack falling off the wall - completely unusable pool table with the available material A not Belvilla-worthy experience.

Beautiful house, situated in a quiet area. Beautiful region. Unfortunately there were a few negative points. Several lights did not work. Above sink and above stove in kitchen, so cooking and washing dishes in the almost dark. Also in living room several spotlights that did not work. Ping-pong table but without balls, darts but only broken arrows and billiards with broken sticks. J"aimerais. Generally clean, especially the bedding, but dirty, greasy extractor hood. We were pleasantly surprised that the house was fly-free. The next day we noticed that no maintenance is being done. Both the dryer, dishwasher and carrier rack have had their day. There is no good furniture to sit outside. Two shabby tables are about to fall over. We post these comments because we already had a holiday there for the third and last time.

Wij hadden hier een mooie tijd met vrienden. Veel sport- en spelmogelijkheden en een ruime tuin met weids uitzicht. Een aantal zaken mogen opgewaardeerd worden maar de prijs maakt dat dit geen probleem is. Wij waren niet op zoek naar luxe maar wel naar veel buitenruimte en gezellig samenzijn. Dat is hier heel goed gelukt!

The cleaning was poorly done, we stuck to the floor. The dishes were dirty. The coffee from the previous occupants was still in the garage. There was a lot of utensils in the house, which makes it look messy. The pool table was not set up properly so that the balls always rolled to one side. The walls were also too short against the pool table, so there was not enough space to use a normal stick to hit the balls. Wallpaper had been ripped off the walls, and there was a broken rocking chair camouflaged with a cushion. This was dangerous.

House with potential, where the passion is out. The house itself is very spacious and has a lovely quiet rural location. We have had a few nice days here which we thoroughly enjoyed. The owner who came by was also very nice and even brought a nice local special beer. Downside was that the holiday was shortened. The municipality went to work on the water pipe for 4 days, so that we would be without water for those days. This had escaped the attention of the owner. Had we known this in advance, we could have moved the holiday to another period. So unfortunately we had to leave earlier and although we got our money back for those days, this still leaves a somewhat bad aftertaste. However, inside there are a number of things that need to be replaced / supplemented: - The 3 sofas in the living room all 3 have a broken right armrest - The kettle looked far from clean (we didn't use it either) - The white bed with the bars creaks with every little movement- The Barbecue had so much ash on the ash plate that we didn't even use it. In addition, when making the beds, we came across tissues from one of the previous guests and hung in the conservatory still has several old fly strips. Finally, there were some stains here and there in various mattresses, pillows and blankets. As the title implies, the passion is somewhat out. Our conclusion is that with a few relatively simple adjustments and some attention, this can again become a wonderful holiday destination where guests can make beautiful memories.

Value for money was OK. Everything is getting old. Dishwasher doesn't clean properly Lamp in fridge gets so hot it melts cheese. There is a huge freezer, which was great. Sauna is only 60 degrees warm. Mattresses are read. There are no garbage cans. Lots of flies. Pool table is crooked. Ping pong table was good but the racquets were not. It smells very bad in the basement, but you can ventilate there. If you want to save and are willing to make compromises, you can book here quite well.

Great place, large house where we could stay with several adults and children in 4 bedrooms, spacious well-equipped kitchen and large living room. Not forgetting the games room with table football, pool billiards and table tennis. Plus large playing field: grandchildren enjoyed it! User manual house and facilities and with tips about the environment (also shopping) would have been useful. Fortunately, great butcher, several bakers and 2 breweries found. The stove was already on when we entered the house and it smelled nice and fresh! The heater, pump, or reservoir in the basement does indeed make a very loud thumping sound. Kids were scared once. Here and there definitely some points for improvement .. Lighting is not perfect everywhere and the living room could use some mood lighting, now everything is halogen. Tip, take lots of tea lights with you! As for the pans, we (family of 5) can handle them well. Cooking is a challenge for a larger group, as 1 burner (for a large pan) is broken. Dishwasher is good and you can only select a program of more than 3 hours, the rest of the buttons do not work. Indeed, bring a gravy spoon from home and a good potato peeler is also not a luxury. Outside it is fine, did not use the bbq (may be well cleaned or replaced) the 3 kids have made good use of the jeux des boules court, football and the goal! Bathroom downstairs, cannot be used. There is nothing in front of the window, so the neighbors enjoy it when you are taking a shower :-)Bathroom upstairs is fine, don't understand the comment about the switches and water splashing in another comment. This was not a problem. Recommended: go into the sauna! Beds are reasonable... We had a nice bed dance, but in the end we were able to sleep reasonably well. Home is always best of course. The house is reasonably to good clean! The house is in a quiet area and can relax wonderfully! All in all had a great week!

The house and the location are excellent and it was clean. BUT: there was, for example, no potato peeler, no ladle and barely 2 worn pans for 9 people and the knives were blunt. Some radiators barely worked. Reason: not vented. There was a stench of sewers in the living space. There were cracked glasses and plates. The oven had not been cleaned and there was no glass plate in the microwave. There was no duvet for 1 person on the ground floor. The walk-in shower is certainly not safe, the water from the sprinkler can wet the light switch, cause a short circuit and you can even be electrified. The bbq is dirty and unusable. Sorry Belvilla, let's hope the next stay in June is better.

Nice and quiet house with large garden and a beautiful panoramic view in a beautiful environment. The house is spacious with sufficient living space, spacious kitchen with sufficient crockery and kitchen equipment, spacious bedrooms, several toilets and bathrooms. Great place for a larger group!Present games and games are a pleasant addition to the stay. However, things in and around the house can be refurbished or repaired. The material in the play areas is most worn/broken. More attention should also be paid to the waste in the garden from previous BBQers and smokers. Anyway, some instructions on how to deal with household waste would be welcome. Furthermore, a fly curtain in the door of the kitchen would not be a luxury. Flies in a rural environment are unavoidable, but with a small addition, nuisance from the insects can be reduced. Tip: make sure you have matches or lighter with you if you want to barbecue. This is not present in the house.

It is a super cozy house and beautiful surroundings. We had a super fun week with 6 young guests and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! But only a few minus points: the oven, freezer (where there was mold and leftovers from the previous hurders), fridge, the garage was a bit dirty but that was not too bad and the bbq is very dirty. There may also be a light in the outside cabin for when it is dark.

Separate spacious freezer. Pasture with cows on one side and a horse on the other. Fortunately, no flies indoors due to the screen door. We did miss soup bowls, dessert plates, a paring knife and the dishwasher does not clean properly. The cushions and a few plastic garden chairs are due for renewal. Great beds. The Ardennes remain a beautiful area to spend a weekend in. The house has all possible amenities to make the stay a success and is approximately 6 kilometers from Houffalize. We return annually to mountain bike here. It is 300 meters from the house and you are already on one of the many mountain bike routes. The location of the house is beautiful you overlook the rolling hills of the Ardennes.

On arrival we did not see the owner a little explanation had been welcome (use stove). We were welcomed with a bottle of Chouffe. The house is very well furnished and especially for families with children very nice because there are many play equipment (pool, table tennis, table football) and a very large garden. Unfortunately it appeared during our stay that there was a lot of overdue maintenance (various lamps were broken or were missing at the dishwasher were missing wheels on the bottom heating drawer in the basement on the sauna does not work cutlery worn etc.). We also didn't like the fact that the curtains in the bedrooms were so light. The sliding door of the porch cannot be opened. The area is wonderful for walking and cycling. We also visited the Lupulus brewery. Really nice!

Everything went fine. The key was deposited for us, later the landlady came to see us. However, she spoke only French. The departure was unproblematic. The house looks exactly like the pictures. It is big and clean. The small stove is great. The playground equipment was great and everything was complete. There were even Boulekugeln. Also badminton rackets and balls were there, table tennis accessories likewise. There is also a dartboard, but you should bring arrows. Less complete it was in the kitchen There were only 4 (!) Teaspoon. Also knives were not too many, small kitchen knives (paring knives or similar) were missing completely. The cutlery looked pretty mixed up, which would not have to be in such a nice house. Also missing was a pasta strainer and a regular wooden spoon. Unfortunately, despite the many glasses, there were no real beer glasses in a country where there are 0.75 liters of beer bottles. Nice way was exactly one of the landlord ready for us, which we have then just drunk from other glasses - thank you. The house is recommended for family reunions and families with children. The garden is huge and surrounded by countryside. The village is tiny and for shopping you have to go to Houffalize or the neighboring village, where the small grocery store has everything. We (5 adults and 3 children) had a good time in April 2019!

Nice gift on arrival. Heating was set up so that it was pleasantly warm. Infrared cabin was great. The pool area was very cold and not pleasant.

It was the second time we stayed in this villa, and the owner had the key laid out somewhere for us. A few hours later she came to say goodbye and explain something. Very friendly, warm lady and the big bottle of beer and chocolates as a welcome gift were also very nice -) The villa is very nice spacious, with a nice large kitchen and living room, 2 bathrooms, spacious bedrooms and a beautiful large garden with very wide view over the hills! It is also very quiet, which I certainly appreciated!

The house was very well equipped with table tennis, pool table, table football, big garden with foot ball goal, lots of space indoors as well as outdoors. So our teenagers were very happy! The kitchen was also well equipped, although the vegetable knives were not very good. The surroundings were very pleasant with nice country side and a small village. The house was heavily perfumed, which we are unaccustomed to, but would not trouble someone who was used to using fragranced candles, perfume in the washing liquid (pillows and duvets), etc. We found that the curtains were not enough to block out the light in the mornings, so we draped extra linen over the curtain rails.

Upon our arrival there was a big bottle of Achouffe on the kitchen table and a nice quiche to start for a nice weekend! The house was immediately found by Picobello! The surroundings have beautiful views in a beautiful relaxing nature.We really enjoyed it!

The arrival was very confidential, the owner could not be present and left a note on the front door with the further information. As a greeting, a nice rhubarb loaf and a big bottle of beer left for us! We, 5 brothers, have spent a nice weekend in the vacation home! Also the weather was fantastic !! The area around invites you to walk and it is very quiet! Recommend !!!

Looking back on a great fun holiday in a very nice house. We were welcomed with a hearty cake and a big bottle of beer! The house has a lovely large garden and you do not have to be bored if you are sported. The area is very quiet, but we found that nice. Definitely recommended !!

This place is a hidden gem! The secluded location made our stay peaceful, We enjoyed exploring the Ardennes and ended each day relaxing in the garden, The only downside was the lack of nearby restaurants, but we enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen

We enjoyed this holiday. A nice house, great views, sauna, pool table and kicker- ... On arrival there were two bottles of La Chouffe and chocolate eggs ready. Saturday morning there was a weekend newspaper on the bus. Recommended!

The owner was already on the lookout, and had good turn on the heating ... very nice! A truly FANTASTIC house with all the trimmings .... even better than we had imagined, and with us, how cute, gorgeous winter white snow splendor. Enjoyed the (small) children (and we) ... snowballs flew over the field, and we have a nice big snowman left on the court behind.

The house is beautifully situated for those who like to come out and start walking immediately. The billiard, table football and table tennis are additional strengths but the rooms are not heated and at this time so really cold. A small niggle but five teaspoons and a broken ladle. But the house is certainly spacious enough enough storage space, spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, in short, an absolute must.

The welcome by the owner was very cordial, and the property is certainly nothing to notice. (A plus very confortable seats) the environment is one of the most beautiful of the Ardenne For us this is a 10 ON 10.

As a group master, we opted for a quiet holiday in the Ardennes to finish the school year. Ideal to rest after the exams. We have enjoyed it immensely. The cottage was beautifully kept and the hostess was very friendly.

On Monday arrived with a few drops of rain but that is no problem, there are plenty of gaming opportunities inside. "Waking up with the cows next door lovely image but without any hindrance. Peaceful surroundings to enjoy. Surprise drinks and cake on arrival. Friendly, helpful, bilingual landlady. We have just enjoyed five days!

Our annual weekend could not be better with our children and grandchildren. Grandchildren could romp in the garden while they still could enjoy the cows, horses, and sweet cat who came to the garden. Also in the house they could have fun with all the toys and games that were provided. The house was very neat to the bedding, and provided everything we needed. The hostess welcomed us very well and did her best to speak Dutch, we felt right at home. The tasty pie with local beer who stood us very well appreciated upon arrival. For which we thank you. We have, despite the bad weather had a wonderful week in a la Clairette. The cottage is very complete (pool table, table tennis, infrared sauna, petanque, large garden \/ meadow to play football in, weather BBQ area (with shelter). Great for two families or a night visit! Warm welcome (in French but with hands and feet worked fine!).

The house is clean, spacious and very well equipped with table tennis, billiards, sauna and fully equipped. The kitchen has everything to cook elaborate. In the house there is plenty of entertainment at any less beautiful weather. The area is perfect for walking, cycling and visiting towns. There are several interesting museums in the area of ​​World War II, especially the war museum in Bastogne is very worthwhile. At the Achouffe brewery tour and tasting is a must. We very much enjoyed our stay!
