This holiday home is located in the Montleban region in the Ardennes part of Belgium. It is great for a group of families, accommodating 18 in 5 spacious rooms. There is a great valley atmosphere of the Ourthe River.
The forest is only 100 m away, where you can go for walks and it has 3 mountain bike tracks. The town of Houffalize is 10 km away, it has a small amusement park called Houtopia, Gouvy Houffalize natural park and mountain bike hire.
The backyard of the house has a garden where you can feed the deers. The place has a sauna, solarium, boules court, sandpit, playpen, terrace, garden with furniture and a barbecue area.
Good restaurants and general supplies are 2 km away, Public transport is 6 km away, with the lake and town centre at 10 km distance. The nearest airport is the Liege airport at a distance of 92 km.

The host was friendly, only talks Frans. The house is fine, just a bit old-fashioned. We had a drainage problem, the septic tank overflowed in the garden the first day, and that caused odor nuisance. 1 sink on a room did not drain, the showers go, but are not fixed. 1 shower has long since broken, because of a tap that has been ordered but has not yet been delivered?? You can sit outside, only 1 of the 2 lamps goes. And 0.0 communication is possible. I sent an email in advance, sent a whatsapp, then again translated into French to ask what kind of bbq they had, there is no answer to this. The second day in the morning, the well ran again, called via whatsapp, called like that, nobody does not answer. This was a bit regretful. For the rest, we had a nice weekend.
TV didn't work. Reported, but we got no response. Showers were not all in order. Bath was not completely finished. Garden was a plus.
Quiet and beautiful area, nice garden .. Only a very dirty shelter. The photos gave a wrong picture. The house was not as clean and tidy as the photos did uitschijnen.Sauna that is recommended does not work. Door is not equipped with handles. The shower on the ground floor was under renovation and therefore not usable. Many cutlery and plates were still dirty from the previous occupants. (food scraps still on it.) Fly traps were full of dead flies & moths. These should have been replaced. Community counseling Ziller
Lovely family holiday. A slightly older house with some minor defects, but certainly big enough. In the kitchen everything is there with certainly sufficient cutlery and crockery. Large enclosed garden, fantastic for the dogs and also sufficient for outdoor living with family. in order with good BBQ.Friendly reception with sufficient explanation.
Clean house, nice garden and playroom. Beautiful surroundings, also great walks from the house. A bit outdated and a heating that could not turn on oil. Waste of money and especially the environment.
what more could you want for Christmas with children and grandchildren to a beautiful house When you arrive there, the whole house is decorated in a Christmas mood, beautiful tree, each room is decorated and to top it off, a nicely set table for 16 people, everything else more than adequate and tidy
