The center and the old town of the charming town and climatic health resort of Plau am See can be reached on foot from here. Various restaurants and cafés serve Mecklenburg specialties and small shops invite you to browse. There are also sights worth seeing such as the Plau castle tower from 1449 with its deep dungeon and narrow climb, the famous lift bridge from 1916 and the town church from the 13th century, which can be seen from afar.

We hadden een geweldig verblijf in Apartment Hafenflair! Het appartement was ruim en prachtig ingericht, met een prachtig uitzicht op de jachthaven rechtstreeks vanaf ons terras, We genoten van koffie in de ochtend terwijl we naar de boten keken, De locatie was perfect voor het verkennen van Plau am See, met charmante winkels en heerlijke restaurants op loopafstand, De verhuurdienst voor boten was super handig, en we maakten zelfs een begeleide vistrip! Sterk aanbevolen voor een ontspannen uitje
