Since everything in Damp is centrally located, you can explore the entire town on foot or by bike. There are also various other places around Damp that are worth a visit. These include Kappeln, the Viking settlement of Haithabu and the cities of Kiel and Flensburg. The first port of call for families in Damp is the extensive sandy beach. Here the children can dig in the sand to their heart's content and swim against the waves while the parents make themselves comfortable in the sand or in a beach chair. There is also the "Viking Golf" mini golf course right on the beach. For a break, there are delicious restaurants, small shops and cozy cafes on the beach promenade. The tropical adventure pool in Damp with its indoor and outdoor pools, slides for all ages and a northern lights show will never let you get bored. Värmland - Germany's first bikini and swimwear sweat lodge village - also invites you to relax in various saunas. Right next to the discovery pool, you can "play a quiet game" in the Kubbsala bowling center.

Het vakantiehuis was goed uitgerust en erg schoon. We waardeerden de gratis wifi en de ruime parkeergelegenheid. Het was een beetje ver van sommige attracties, maar de rustige omgeving maakte het de moeite waard.
Gezellige en knusse plek! Het had een huiselijke sfeer met alle nodige voorzieningen. Het enige nadeel was de afstand tot enkele attracties, maar we vonden de rit niet erg.
A lovely stay overall, The apartment was clean and well-maintained, We didn't spend much time in the apartment since we were out skiing, but it was nice to come back to a cozy space,

This was a fantastic base for exploring Pico! The location is ideal for hiking, and we enjoyed visiting the local shops, The natural beauty of the area is breathtaking,
