The living space of 38 square metres is divided into a living room and bedroom, a state-of-the-art kitchen with dining area and a bright, spacious bathroom. In the living and sleeping area, you can sleep in a double bed with a comfortable entrance height. In front of the bed is a large, fully mirrored sliding-door wardrobe where you can store your luggage to save space. Next to the wardrobe is a large flat-screen TV (1.19 m screen diagonal) so you can also enjoy a cosy evening from the comfort of your bed or the couch. The adjoining living area has been stylishly decorated with new furniture. . Warm colours and lots of wood create a cosy ambience. In the separate, spacious kitchen, your self-catering will be a pleasure: a latest-generation convection cooker with an 80cm touch ceramic hob lets you conjure up delicious meals. There is also a dishwasher, a microwave and small electrical appliances such as a coffee machine, a Senseo coffee pod machine, a toaster and a kettle, as well as all the necessary cooking utensils and crockery. Take a seat in the dining area on a corner bench right by the window and enjoy the marvellous view of the surrounding mountains and the Five Fingers (viewing platform at 2100 m above sea level) as well as the Krippenstein while you eat. The giant ice cave is also located here. The separate light-flooded shower room with window is modern and newly designed. In addition to a WC and wash hand basin, it is equipped with many cupboards and shelves. The south-facing balcony allows you to step outside and enjoy your breakfast or coffee with a marvellous view. You will find deckchairs on the very well-furnished south-facing balcony, from which you can enjoy the sun until late in the evening. There are cycling and hiking trails and a cross-country ski trail directly behind the house. So you can go on hikes and excursions directly to the Koppenwinkl nature reserve with the Traun torrent behind the house. A restaurant with excellent Austrian cuisine is just a 10-minute walk away. The valley station, which leads to the ski area, can be reached by car in 2 minutes. There you will also find the giant ice cave and the Five Fingers. In the wider area you can reach the centre of Obertraun after a 20-minute walk. Grocery shop, fresh baked goods, newsagents and several recommendable restaurants are waiting for your visit. You will also find a pizzeria, cash machine and ski hire in the village.
