The lake Afritzer See itself is beautifully nestled in the Carinthian landscape and is known for its clear waters and relaxed atmosphere. Additionally, there are several other stunning lakes in the vicinity, such as the Millstätter See, the Brennsee, Faaker See, and the Ossiacher See. In winter, this area becomes a true winter sports destination. About 15 km away is Bad Kleinkirchheim, featuring 103 km of slopes, modern ski lifts, and something for everyone, from families to avid winter sports enthusiasts. The Gerlitzen Alpe is also nearby (approximately 13 km) and offers 50-55 km of slopes with stunning panoramic views, suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers.
