Bödefeld is a 10-minute drive from Winterberg in the Sauerland. On the Hunau there is a ski area with several lifts and slopes of different levels of difficulty, including the longest slope in the Sauerland. Of course, there are also good cross-country skiing opportunities in the Bödefeld area. A nice experience when you go skiing, cross-country skiing or winter hiking for the first time. For daily shopping there is a small supermarket and a bakery in the village. The village has an indoor pool with sauna and steam rooms. There are many sports and leisure opportunities in the Sauerland both in winter and in summer. The hiking world of Winterberg is one of the top hiking regions. First-class hiking projects such as the Rothaarsteig or the Winterberger Hochtour bear witness to this. In winter, the Winterberg ski lift carousel and numerous cross-country skiing and winter hiking trails offer optimal conditions.
