Beautiful chalet in a holiday park by a pond
Description
The chalets at Buitenplaats Holten, a small-scale holiday park, are of high quality and in a lovely setting. All the different types are located on or very close to the pond. You have the choice of various types. The Korhoen type is available in a 4-person variant with 2 bedrooms (NL-7462-01) as well as a 6-person variant with 3 bedrooms (NL-7462-02). The 6-person variant of the type Twente (NL-7462-03) offers even more space. All accommodations are equipped with most contemporary conveniences and offer a view of the pond from the living room. And of course you have your own garden and terrace with garden furniture.

The expectation was at 7 days and over 800 € already large. The directions and signs is fine there are no problems. The entrance to the park does not make such a nice impression. Slightly overgrown and the first meters are not paved. We were received polite and very nice. The pool at the beginning of the park is clean and completely sufficient. Our house No.9 is one of the older houses in the park. A downpipe from the gutter is missing and the water from the gutter is drained across the patio. As a result, a terrace plate is already bagged. Some of the garden furniture would also have to be replaced, as damaged. Inside everything is clean. The small bathroom is modern. The kitchenette is also okay. Unfortunately, but the dishwasher is missing (is in the description). The microwave has already passed its best years and should urgently be renewed. Some lightbulbs are broken and the mattresses well, would be a turn. Then much on the 4 day still the wifi, which did not work again until the departure. The tastes are different. But in general we had promised more of this vacation, too bad.
Arrival was not easy. Key was in a box with code. Was unknown to us. We did not get contact with a person who could help us. Chalet was not clean. A lot of dust and dead flies on cabinets. Not cleaned under beds and benches. Outdoor cushions were dirty. No inventory list and Wificode available. No dishwasher, but it is mentioned. Shower wall was broken. A new one would have been ordered but had not yet been delivered. Shower tray was blocked. Window of bedroom was open but was defective and could not close. First day reported. Would be looked at. No one seen despite being asked several times. Environment was good but every morning at five o'clock two cocks crowing was not fun. They were on the site.

De gastheer was vriendelijk en zorgde ervoor dat we ons bij aankomst welkom voelden. Het chalet had een prettige sfeer en was uitgerust met alle benodigde dingen. Perfect voor een familievakantie.
