About the accommodation The house is nestled between traditional stone houses in the centre of the picturesque village of Cavergno in the Maggia Valley. It has been recently renovated and is an ideal starting point for hikes, nature walks and outdoor activities. Despite the modernisation, it has retained its original character and today combines traditional charm with contemporary comfort. New windows and insulated walls keep the summer heat outside and ensure a pleasant coolness inside. From the balcony you can enjoy a sweeping view over the valley and the surrounding mountains. Room layout On the ground floor there is a well-equipped kitchen, a cosy living and dining room and a guest WC. On the first floor there are two bright single rooms, a modern bathroom with shower and a bedroom with a comfortable double bed. Location and connections Casa Nati is in a quiet yet central location in Cavergno. The village centre with post bus stop, butcher's shop, bar and pizzeria is just a few minutes' walk away. Thanks to the good transport links, the valley can also be easily explored by public transport. If you are travelling by car, Locarno can be reached in around 30 minutes. Activities and experiences Walks through pristine forests start right on the doorstep, while thundering waterfalls and natural lakes beckon in the surrounding area. Climbing enthusiasts will find breathtaking routes, and cyclists can explore the Maggia Valley all the way to Locarno. Along the way, traditional grotti invite you to stop for a bite to eat. In the evening, you can enjoy the first and last rays of sunshine of the day relaxing on the balcony.
