Las Vegas belongs to the municipality of Granadilla de Abona, in the south of Tenerife, and is the starting point for an 8 km circular hiking route: Las Vegas-Molino-Las Vegas. This trail allows you to discover what a true Canarian mid-altitude village was like and how people lived in the rural areas: you can see goats grazing, hear the rooster crowing, and see an authentic watermill used to grind grain, as well as the old ovens used to dry fruit (like figs) or bake bread and sweets. El Médano and Los Abrigos, just 20 minutes from Las Vegas, are old fishing villages with some of the best natural beaches on the island, offering opportunities for water sports and a variety of the island's cuisine.
