Claudia welcomed us very friendly and was always available for questions. The house was very quiet, large front yard, communal pool area and pool table. All in all very neat and tidy. Also the bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great when we were there, so we had to spend a lot of time indoors. Unfortunately, the living room is not so well made for this. Great for a summer holiday, but not so comfortable in the colder seasons. The house itself was very cool, as in Italy the heating is not allowed to be turned on in September. Definitely great in the summer. The location is great for exploring the area. It takes a maximum of 30-60 minutes to get to Florence, Siena or Montepulciano.
We were very friendly by Claudia. In the middle of September we arrived in S.Maria, thanks to the great weather we could enjoy the very nice pool for a few days. Our house was very well equipped, even its own washing machine in the bathroom was available. Not only the house was very clean and all electrical appliances were in top condition. We even got an espresso machine and the coffee was provided free of charge. So house and grounds very lovingly .... Top, we will definitely be back. Thanks to the great tips for parking in the larger cities we could in the morning our excursions start. Unfortunately we had bad luck with the car battery, which let us down. Immediately Claudia and her husband helped us with words and deeds. Without hesitation, they drove us to the nearest workshop, which we left with a new battery at a fair price. Hereby again dear Claudia, thank you very much for a wonderful holiday.
The accommodation is perfect! It is clean, everything is complete and the welcome was very cordial. We enjoyed the swimming pool. Clean, spacious and perfectly maintained. The apartment and the surrounding gardens are beautifully in bloom and very well maintained! Highly recommended.
The only drawback: air conditioning is not included in the price, which you would expect in a southern country.
We could not find the stay the same (despite the navigation). We were 20 km beside it but were picked up by the owner. The welcome was warm and the apartment was spacious, neat and clean with large garden! With a question we could easily reach the owner and we responded almost immediately. We were invited to come and eat bruschetta with the owner. She did her best to speak English. Very hospitable!
