Beautiful house in a beautiful location Kitchen a bit sober in terms of facilities (no microwave, little cooking material)
Warm welcome by owner Claudia and her husband with snacks and drinks! Lovely spacious and clean apartment with large pool and fully equipped! The homemade limoncello was also delicious! On departure we received a bag of homemade cantuccini cookies. Definitely recommended and worth repeating.
Upon arrival it was not entirely clear whether we were standing in front of the right gate, but the owner Claudia immediately sent her husband to us when we called her. She speaks great English. The house is new, but completely old-fashioned Italian. With all modern amenities. And cleaned well! The surroundings are beautiful! From your bedroom window you can look at the beautiful green landscape of Tuscany.
We really enjoyed this apartment. Fully equipped, very clean and tidy. Hostess Claudia and her husband are very nice. Definitely recommended to buy home-made olive oil, wine, honey and / or limoncello, they will let you taste with love!
We were very kindly welcomed by the owner, Claudia, who speaks great English. We were in apartment Il Roseto, a beautiful, very spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a spacious living / dining room and kitchen. The apartment was spit and span and had a (light) basement, ground floor and first floor. There is air conditioning in the living room and both bedrooms (for a fee). The kitchen is well equipped including dishwasher, hob with oven and microwave. Downstairs you will find a washing machine for your own use. In the garden you have a private sitting area with table and chairs under a shelter. The garden and seating belonging to the apartment are not closed off from the neighbors (visible on both sides), but certainly not disturbing. The pool is nice, clean and plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. The gardens are beautifully maintained by the owner Andrea, who speaks little English but is also very friendly. The owners do everything to make you happy and you can follow a cooking workshop and even book breakfast. They sell their own Tasty olive oil and honey. Nearby, nice restaurants and a lovely old city center (pje), within walking distance for the enthusiast (because up hill). Furthermore, many beautiful towns in the area, with Siena as the high point. This apartment is an absolute must, we will definitely come back to Claudia and Andrea!
On arrival Claudia was present and showed us the way around the house and explained the rules. She did this in an unpleasant way. She asked if we wanted to skip changing the bed after a week because she was busy. Furthermore, there was nothing in the house in terms of sugar, salt and pepper, detergent actually the basic things that are usually there. If you come by plane you have to buy everything and if you are there for a week it is annoying. The range of crockery and cooking utensils was rather sparse. Only 2 wine glasses for an apartment for 4 people. Few pans etc. The house was not within walking distance of the village which is mentioned in the information. For shopping you have to drive approx. 6 km, but was no problem for us. Good sized supermarkets in Sinalunga.
