Chalet ideally located on the edge of forest
Description
This chalet is ideally located on the edge of a large forest massif about 10 km from the center of Durbuy. The chalet was recently completely renovated and has a spacious living room (Proximus TV) with an equipped open kitchen, three bedrooms with double Queen size box spring bed and two bathrooms with walk-in shower. The chalet has a large terrace with a wood-fired hot tub at the back. The chalet gives direct access to a large forest area that almost extends to the town of Durbuy. The nearby express road also ensures good accessibility to Marche-en-Famenne at 10 minutes. The location near Durbuy also gives access to a wide range of activities both indoors and outdoors.

Super house.. had a nice stay with 6 people and dog. Durbuy is a very nice town to visit and enjoy a delicious meal!
Beautiful house! Everything looks good, and the kitchen is very complete. The area, nice and secluded, is also beautiful. We had forgotten toilet rolls, unfortunately they were not in the house. We had to get them from a supermarket soon after arrival. There was also no wood for the hot tub. We found it difficult to estimate how much wood we needed and were therefore unable to fully enjoy the hot tub (wood bought for 20 euros in a small supermarket). Therefore not five stars.
It is a beautiful, spacious and modernly furnished chalet. Most receptionists were helpful and customer friendly. But unfortunately it also has a number of less good points. There is within earshot (and partly visible) a highway where traffic rages along at 120 km/h. There were a number of things that did not work completely (TV remote control, blocked roller shutter). The hot tub also had an unpleasant odor and was not completely clean. One of the rooms smelled like dog, the smell lingered throughout the stay provided the room was regularly ventilated. The chalet was pricey, but if the above points were not present and, for example, part of the firewood to be used had been included in the price, it would have been well worth the money.
It is a beautiful chalet, close to a busy road (but hardly a nuisance) A walking route starts next to the chalet, which is beautiful and quiet. Some negatives: - 1 shower did not drain properly, this is the shower close to the wood storage space. (I suspect that this has been the case for a while, as the bottom sealing does not close 100%, you will notice this on the floor) - Drain drain cleaned and flushed with unblocking agent. - I was missing a floating chlorine distributor for the hot tub (I think it would be recommended) (After all, the hot tub was not 100% clean on arrival, the main culprit here is the tree under which it is located, perhaps some pruning? :) Everything was easily resolved and we enjoyed a wonderful holiday in a beautiful chalet. Plenty of shops and sights nearby! Nearby walks (petit-han - Durbuy), Noiseux very inviting, the walk in Somme Leuze itself (5km) not really recommended, because 1/2 of the way along a busy road without a footpath. Hoton also recommended, Hygiene, everything is fine, but removing the cobwebs is a must, right? (considering the €120 fee) ... It may sound a bit negative, but all in all I give this chalet a solid 4 out of 5. Two very last tips, is it possible to turn off the sensor in the hallway? Handy with a small baby :), that the light does not switch on automatically. (Description that the heater can be turned on by placing the burner on 2) it was turned off. We will definitely come back! regards
