In a very old village house, with an atmosphere of yesteryear and modern luxuries, you can taste real French life, go to the bakery while strolling along the river in this village which is on the "Chemin des Cathares". There is also a grocery shop and a number of restaurants in the village. The town of Carcassonne, with its imposing citadel, is nearby. Castles, abbeys and water sports on the rivers are all within easy reach. You can also spend a day at the beach, as Narbonne's beaches are less than an hour and a half away.
This house is built into the hillside and has three floors: on the ground floor there is a bedroom and a bathroom (shower height 1.80 m). On the first floor which is also the ground floor with the living areas opening onto the pool terrace. On the first floor you will find two bedrooms, one with two bunk beds and a bathroom. Enter through the interior garden and you'll feel like you've stepped back in time, what an atmosphere! The swimming pool has a sun terrace and you'll find a garden set with a large parasol and barbecue. This house is ideal for one or two couples with two children and a pet.

Good equipment, nice village.
The area is fantastic. A quiet village in silence with few tourists, but with everything you need. (Bakery, pharmacy, butcher, resto) within walking distance. The cottage is charming and offers everything needed. All conveniences present (cooking pots, towels, washing machine and dishwasher ...). The swimming pool and the terrace are blissful and spacious enough for four people. The kitchen offers more than enough comfort to prepare something tasty and is well equipped. The only downside: the bathrooms are tight (for tall people.) The showers and the door are just a little too low for my 1.90m but we would have this house immediately book again if we visit the same region. Highly recommended, helpful owner (via mail) and friendly housekeeper who lives two houses away.
Very charming cottage in village, near bakery, grocery, nice restaurant, in the neighborhood are many beautiful trips to do, 1 week was actually too little, you want to rest then you have a cozy terrace where you can also swim, for it was already too cold for us! the welcome was very friendly, cottage was tidy and made beds!, definitely recommended for those who love la douce france
Village very calm and well arranged commerce
We have a great time in this Villa. It was very hot in France, so the pool was very welcome. Especially the many facilities of the house we liked, such as the oven, the dishwasher, the dryer, the washing machine. The only thing I found less, was that I could not stand up while showering.
Super cozy house with all the French charm. Very clean, super reception, definitely worth repeating!
